This sounds like an accurate remake by the original group, the original record was a little better. And you heard one of the greatest screams in rock and roll history lol. I was a #1 in 1965. Young people didn't care about what it was about, it was just weird and fun, to dance to and yell/sing: "Wooly Bulllyyyyy!" and that sax solo was real fun also.

One of the best explanations of this song I ever heard was from the movie 'Mr Hollands Opus' starring Richard Dreyfus. He asked a student why she liked the song and she said 'It's fun'. That's it. It was fun to dance to and nobody understood most of the words. It didn't matter, it was just fun. btw, Mr Hollands Opus is a great movie about music from the 60's all the way to the 90"s. You should react to "Doo Wah Diddy" by Manfred Mann (1964). It's a classic one you haven't done yet. Very catchy and fun song.
