    👍thank you also putting in your mistakes. That 4 stroke looks like a fun one to ride. I have a beta 300rr right now and will keep it but would love a 4stroke as well.

    Man, you’re sitting down all the time! Room for improvement 😂 Bike seems awesome 👍🏼

      There is nothing wrong with sitting a lot as long as you're sitting in the right spot. It saves your legs for when you really need them. People think you need to stand more often than not. I think people stand too much. Just my opinion.

      i ride sitting most of the time and stand up only in whoops or more difficult terrain you are dumb if you stand up on a flat surface lol it just bring your center of gravity way up on the bike making it harder to flick it

      @@maximlevesque9916 , Graham Jarvis sits when he can to conserve energy and I'd say he's a pretty good rider.

    Nice work on the video and of course the race, I just picked up a 2019 300 4st factory, and I am so looking forward to getting out into the woods next week. Keep up the good work!

    I thought the rules were that you could not go more than 8 feet off the marked course? In the beginning I see so many riders way off course. You stayed the course the entire time with just a little exception. Nice job!

    • @connorallen5150
      @connorallen5150 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Its 25 feet, during bottlenecks you can get around by any means necessary

      @@connorallen5150 ...so long as you reenter the course as soon as you clear the bottleneck. You can't continue to cut across like it's a hot-line if you have cleared the bottleneck and are further than 25 feet from the course.

    As a beginner I think most of us start out on a stock bike , so what’s the first three things or mods that you guys would do to a stock bike ? You know , like when the Mrs asks you what you want for Christmas 🎄 or birthday

      M J so I ended up buying a 2020 Sherco SEF 300 factory, here is a list of things I added.
      Suspension tuned for my weight and style
      ARC levers(personal preference, stock is fine)
      Radiator braces(not needed on all bike but a good idea on Sherco’s)
      Chain guide
      And that’s it.... for any other bikes I would say suspension is most important but ride it first to see if you need that. 160-180lbs riders can usually get away without suspension setups. Other than that I’d say protection and anything that is a personal preference. I usually ride a bike for a good amount of time and then find stuff that bugs me and then fix it. Really don’t need to modify a ton. Also don’t under estimate good tires, they make a huge difference.

      I race A class in my home series. This was a special race that didn’t really have classes.

    Also with the stock suspension (kyb technical touch) what did you end up liking on clicker settings ? And sag

    • @ArkansaDave1
      @ArkansaDave1  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I am about 225lbs in riding gear, so stock springs weren’t really cutting it. I believe I had the clickers at 10 comp/11 reb in the front and rear but it’s been so long I don’t remember. I got my suspension revalved and sprung for me by Enzo Racing and I cannot recommend them enough.

    Hi Dave! Do you know if is available an aftermarket ECU (GET...?)for the 2019-21 Sherco SEF 300 Factory? I rode the bike and 90% of the bike was great, but the power was really week... I rode the bike in each mode (standard and aggressive) in technical and fast trails and I was kind of disappointed. Ant suggestions or ideas? If I can find a solution to this I might buy a 2021 KTM 350xcf. Thanks!

    • @ArkansaDave1
      @ArkansaDave1  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      There is an akrapovic tune that a dealer may be able to load for you, to me it did add a ton of power. The motor is actually one of my favorite parts of the bike. It’s not gonna be able to compete with a 350xcf in raw power though.

      If you want a hard hitting 300 or 450 you will want a Ktm. Shercos are not like that at all. They make them as a trail bike and have usable linear power unlike a Ktm that are a race bike first and trail bike Second.

      flashdrz as far as steering? Yes it’s pretty light. Feels better than a Ktm 350, not by a ton but if you ride back to back you can notice it.

    WOW! Very nice ride! Veeeery pretty trail! It looks like uphere in my place in germany, but if you would do such race uphere, the eco-freaks would creep out from behind evers tree and hang you high...absolutely illigal upher! Why? The people uphere think they could save the whole universe by killing every fun with motors...so poor!
