- This clone carpet is becoming my favorite 5 speed material. It does so many things well with little downside. Add in the Ranger fast side and the performance liner and you have the Coyote. If you are on the fence about whether to get a set of these bags, it's time to get down and buy them.

I absolutely love my yotes! This review is spot on! The hand feel that the liner gives is crazy. I've never felt a bag like it

@@MikesBags In your opinion Do you believe that the Coyotes play slower than Typhoons? It seems like my Coyotes are noticeably slower than my Typhoons.
The Typhoons vary based on conditions. They can play anywhere from a 2 to a 6. The Coyotes are more consistent. They play at a 5 in most all conditions.

I've seen a few people calling them Yotes. That may catch on.

Good evening Mike, Another great review. I purchased a set in the teal color. Any recommendation on how to break these in with a liner? Thank you, and good night.
These bags don't take much to break in. I did a vinegar soak on mine. 1 1/2 to 2 cups of white distilled vinegar mixed with warm water (enough water to cover the bags). Soak for 2 hours. Rinse with fresh water. Either air dry or toss in the dryer with a towel on low heat.
Looking forward to B3 Fatal review.

I need an acl version of this bag.
The SubZero Wintertide is probably what you are looking for. It has the same slow side, similar fill, and similar fast side. There is no ACL bag that is exactly like the Coyotes.

Both of those bags are awesome. I give the slight edge to the Coyote just because of the performance liner.

Awesome! I'm glad you like them. The Coyotes are one of my favorite bags. They seem to always end up in my backpack when I'm going to a non ACL event.

What other bags use that slow side? Anything with a faster 6/slower 7? Or a 7/8?
The Swag Bags KaBoom has a 7 speed fast side. The Southwest Jefe has an 8 fast side. The X Level Lights Out Rd 2 has a 7 fast side. I have reviews up on all 3 of these.
Have you ever reviewed Cornhole Scenario Ligers?
I have not. I probably won't review them. The quality of their bags have gone down since they started outsourcing the production. I bought 3 sets of their outsourced bags and they all had some sort of issues. They are not the same quality as the hand-made bags. Plus, the prices are absurd. The bags are no longer worth what Cornhole Scenario is charging for them.
I wonder about b3 Eradicator 5 6 speed what that would be like carpet 5 speed and 6 speed on the other side

Would love to get a set of these bags, but it seems like everyone is making these type bags with a 9 speed fast side. Can you recommend a bag with the same carpet, but an 8 speed fast side? Thanks!
The Southwest Jefe has an 8 speed fast side. The Swag Bags KaBoom has a 7 speed fast side. I have a review of that bag coming out in a couple days. Black Sheep Baggers is coming out with a Costello X that looks like it will have an 8 speed fast side. That is supposed to be released in about 3 weeks.
Great review Mike. I was choosing between the Coyote and the Hercules from Name Brand Bag Co. The Hercules are already on their way but it looks like I'll be getting the Coyotes anyway!
I don't think you'll be disappointed. Let me know what you think of the Hercules bags and the Coyotes, if you get them.

I just checked out the Hercules bags and I am intrigued. I have seen quite a few people talk about Name Brand Bag Co but I have not had the chance to throw any of their bags yet. I may have to get a set to try.

Mike is there an ACL stamped bag that is even close to comparison to the coyotes out now?
Swag Bags Tornado, Buffalo Sauce, and SubZero Wintertide are all similar. They all have the same slow side material as the Coyote.

Which bag do you like better the coyote or the Marilyn
It depends on the situation because those bags are different. If boards are fast, I'm throwing the Coyote and if they are slow, I'm throwing the Marilyn. On normal boards, I'm going with the Coyote if I want to throw more blocks and the Marilyn if I'm going hole for hole.
@Mikesbags how is this compared to the BG Wizard?
These are not as full as the Wizards. Coyotes are floppier and not as bouncy.
Are there any ACL bags that utilize a liner like B3 uses?
I'm not aware of any ACL companies that use the same liner. There may be some out there, I just haven't found them yet.
I am surprised at how well these roll! If they had a "popular name brand" on it they would sell like hotcakes.

Mike what break in method did you use for these?
I do not know. It's been a while since I broke those in. However, it doesn't matter. Toss Sauce or a vinegar soak would work great on these.

I did a vinegar soak. I have a video coming out at noon today that talks about how to break in bags using vinegar.
After a year, you prefer these B3 coyote or subzero wintertides, or chaos?
Chaos is a different slow material than the other two. I will typically take both style bags with me. Between the Coyote and Wintertides, I usually go to the Coyotes because of the performance liner.

What bag is like the coyote but is acl pro stamp
The closest bags to this are the Swag Bags KaBoom and the Name Brand Bag Co Big Jack 2.0. I have a set of KaBoom bags and I will have a review up later this week. The fast side is a little slower than the Coyotes. I have a set of Big Jack 2.0 bags on order but I have not received them yet. Both of those bags are ACL Comp stamped.
Black Sheep Baggers has a new bag called the Costello X that will be released at the end of March. That will have the same slow side material as the Coyote.
Are there any ACL stamped bags using the "r clone" carpet?
Only one I know is Name Brand Co. I think lumberjack is the name. They are Acl rec though.
Name Brand Bag Co has the Big Jack's but they are only ACL Rec. However, they are working on getting a Big Jack's 2.0 bag approved for the ACL Comp stamp. As soon as they get approved, I plan on getting a set to review.
I hope in the future, more of the big bag companies consider this material. I have wintertides and coyotes, and it is great stuff. They're just not ACL stamped, which 99% of the time, is not a problem. But dang, I'd sure like to have some bags for that remaining 1%.
I think more companies will be coming out with this material soon. The ACL only allows new bags to be released twice a year. I'm guessing we'll see quite a few of them in September when the 2024 season starts.

No. These are a medium speed bag.

I"m not sure what you mean by you throw fast. If you mean that you are a hard thrower, then these are probably not the best. You would want a bag with a slower fast side. B3 is coming out with a bag called the Mastodon which has the same slow side as the Coyote but a slower fast side. That would better for a hard thrower.
