Just watched the movie and yeah Partly because the music in that movie sounded similarly peaceful/happy even as the visuals said 'really bad trip with a creepy cult'
Totally. I wonder if this video is from a native ceremony or a cult pageant? Midsommar was fantastic by the way. If someone wants to feed you food with a pubic hair in it then put you in a bear costume be sure to say no! Firmly!
This song makes life worth it all, feels like such a short moment amongst it All…. Realized I was listening at 2x three times in a row and my heart is in my throat smiling
Listening to BOC harkens back to when you are kid, waking up from an intense dream, not knowing if you are awake yet or still dreaming, that confusing moment when reality imposes itself on a fading feeling of a profound insight.
I listened on repeat this some for several hours when I was writing the first pages of my dissertation. After that, I became completely overwhelmed by Sisters album.
+Martin Drummond I was expecting more intricacy when I saw "BoC Remix", but as often, it's subtle. The more I listen the better this track gets. I thought the same about "Kid for Today" when I first heard it, now it's one of my top ten favorite BoC tracks. So Good!!!!
This track is so beautiful and has an eerie nostalgia just so cool and perfect, Aquarius is also another magicly beautiful track also, boc music the best 😊❤
have you ever heard of the legend of the lotus flower farmers who dreamed strange dreams as their lotus crops flowered and pollenated? myth has it they escaped into another dimension through their flower gardens. do you have the key?
I would greatly appreciate it if someone could help me identify the origin of the women's choir featured in a particular movie, documentary, or clip. The performance has been stuck in my head for weeks, and I’m eager to watch it again.
+Bollog Nyessy to be fair if nine rubber wisdom was made today it would definitely be vaporwave pretty much everything they've done other than old tunes 2 shouldn't be described that way though
I've always wondered, who made this video. Was it BoC? Or a friend? It's like they moved from the 70s/early 80s to like, mid 95 with the hd vhs footage in this vid. Is there a credit?
+dregsta I bought all three BOC albums when they first started getting repressed, and I had no issues with audio quality. Granted, I got mine during the first round of represses, so subsequent batches may have had problems. At any rate, I think Bleep will send a replacement if you happen to receive a poor quality LP. I would definitely recommend picking them up. Hearing BOC on vinyl is something really special. I've had spiritual experiences listening to those things.
+Ivan Yancey yeah I bought the music has the right for children bundle.plays perfectically unfortunately campfire headphase has noise on side 2 . the music is amazing on vinyl. What a awesome band. I really like twosim. Their last one not soo much , very dark . Did you get their other unreleased albums? it's worth checking. Do you know Com Truise, black moth super rainbow and tobacco?
+Landry Prichard Thanks for asking, it's all footage from the Bread & Puppet Our Domestic Resurrection Circus in Glover, VT circa 91-98. Huge influence on me as kid, went every summer... luckily they put out a lot of VHS tapes documenting the pageantry & build up.
+Big Pauper i think the clip is oursome. i started writing a piece from ideas i had after watching it. did your choice of it fit in with any themes of BoC or just because of similar music videos? i actually thought it fit rather well with the BoC whole cults theme
I need this track every once and awhile
I keep coming back too.
Same, one of my long time faves
Yes, this, and the Mr. Mistake remix by BOC.
Boards of Canada is a final music destination. I go revisit old friends, but this is where I live.
👏
Same for me. I will steal that quote, if you agree.
Its like if Depeche Mode dropped acid with Enya! Wonderful
lol!
Perfect analogy 😆
EXACTLY! And who wouldn't want that?!
Brilliant! 🤣👍
Miss you Dude
This brings Midsommar to mind for some reason
Just watched the movie and yeah

@@samn8309 Nothing cultish about this. The visuals from this music video is from the "Bread and Puppets Theater".
Can't get over this track
a thing of beauty is a joy forever.

One of the most affecting songs I have ever heard. Utterly, utterly brilliant!!
Listening to BOC harkens back to when you are kid, waking up from an intense dream, not knowing if you are awake yet or still dreaming, that confusing moment when reality imposes itself on a fading feeling of a profound insight.
Wow- I resonate with that. Very beautifully said. Thank you.

I can't stop listening to this song!
Home was always inside me.
I'm so happy with this song
I visit this video often 🕊️
Very warm remix. Every new BoC release feels like an event to me!
i could hardly believe it! so exciting :)
same!
event(s) that are Beyond space and time… non physical , Etheric.
everything they touch is gold. my wish is that one day they do more live shows. wouldn't care if it was in antarctica, i'd fly anywhere.
Love how Boc's music can help one feel into that timeless and expansive state of Being...
Timeless. Nostalgia for a place and time I feel like I’ve only experienced in my dreams.
Their music helps me feel at moments when I thought I can't really feel anything anymore. Truly transcendental.
I listened on repeat this some for several hours when I was writing the first pages of my dissertation. After that, I became completely overwhelmed by Sisters album.
Most satisfying moment: 2:44 when the glitch effects are synced up with the clap in the beat a few times.
I now know what I'll be listening next acid trip
Why wait?
I enjoy their work. Feels like one big flashback, diced in multiples of our reality and wonder.
and again and again
I believe this video is filmed at The Bread and Puppet festival in Vermont?Sure does look like it.I went to it in 1998 and was freaking incredible!!
I'm soooo feeling this and by this I mean the electrical activity in my headspace cavity.
Bars
BOC bros Mike and Marc cutting trees at 2:30
Is it tho?
@@milesium-487no lol
Heard this for the first time last night - genuinely one of the best moments of my life.
Gorgeous!
i like the vibes of this one so much more than the original
THE ORIGINAL IS WELL WORTH A LISTEN TOO
THANK YOU +:)
This reminds me of the movie The Wicker man (1973). ❤️BoC
I've read people on forums dismissing this after one or two listens. More fool them.
+Martin Drummond I was expecting more intricacy when I saw "BoC Remix", but as often, it's subtle. The more I listen the better this track gets. I thought the same about "Kid for Today" when I first heard it, now it's one of my top ten favorite BoC tracks. So Good!!!!

Stupidly, outrageously beautiful song.
NEW BOC NEW BOC NEW BOC NEW BOC NEW BOC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BOC are my benchmark in electronic music!
Only found that Odd Nosdam was something to check out after looking at a remix they did for BoC 15 years ago, mad
Love the video, interesting remix not what i would expect at all.
totally agree
+Enzzi yeah this feels much more like their older stuff and not at all like tomorrows harvest (which i did love). I like it!
boc never disappoints, never ever!
An entire day listening to this!! Awesome!
This is so amazing
Oh, Lord Jesus, there's a fire!
+Ярослав Ерохин Some sort of wicker man. Paganism is running rampant in times like this. Just degeneration of religion.
If I was going to be accepted and my time spent would be like 1969 in the sunshine, yea I'd joined the cult.
beautiful.....
Nice
..................!!......Perfect.

bliss
Man, this video looks like how Geogaddi felt
Agreed, I wish i could find out what it is so I could research it.
Incredible. Hope these guys put out another album soon, Tomorrow's Harvest with it's nihilistic vibe was fantastic.
we all need to watch this on LSD
Done and done
Great video, one of the best I’ve seen
February 2021; mark my word.
hi from march 2021
@@joushkin4359 Damn, I had really hoped that BoC would've released a new album last month :(
@@billbrasky8525 I think they are done releasing albums. It breaks my heart.
@@reverseetc Actually though? I feel like they would’ve at least announced something via social media or via Warp.
@@billbrasky8525 I really wouldn't be shocked either way.

This sounds like their Hell Interface tracks.
I agree, almost v a p o r w a v e ish
+ZAPPED916 don't ever use that word to describe a BOC track ever again.
+Bollog Nyessy Ha! You're right... That was blasphemous!
+Bollog Nyessy to be fair if nine rubber wisdom was made today it would definitely be vaporwave
pretty much everything they've done other than old tunes 2 shouldn't be described that way though
@@acerebral_ i strongly believe BoC was one of the inspirations for vaporwave
Good stuff!
whats going on in the music video?

Is this remix available on vinyl?
Yay! :3 :D
Sounds like Enya
❤️❤️❤️
That's some good ass shit, BoC coming again with a fresh sound, more 80's 90's, i guess?
+amanam abacid Daaaamn BoC! Back'at'it agaiNnn with the tight jams!!
amanam abacid including early 00's
The footage is straight out of the Wicker Man ! Fits the music perfectly though, great job.
Is the BOC remix available? It doesn't appear to be on the album linked above.

I'm curious to know as well. It's got a weird boc vibe..
does anyone know where these samples came from? they're beautiful!

How can there be thumbs down?

hey whats up with LP reissues ? I've read negative reviews like noise etc. Whats going with that? I really want those LP's

do you guys here "eeeeeeyaaaauhhhhh" on the fourth beat listen from 3:20 on till the end
+Daniel Lichtenberg Yeah, there is something in there for sure. I should sample it and boost the levels...
probably one of Odd Nosdams samples from the original Sisters track tbh
+Philosophy's Pajamas that seems most likely
+Philosophy's Pajamas I don't know, I can't seem to find it in the original.
747Music Fancy seeing you here, lol. See you on Twoism!
Fantastic! I must know though, as a child of the 90s: Where did you get this raw video? What event is it? I must know! :-D
