Dude, it's blowing my mind that you did all of this Charlotte stuff in just three and a half days. Your drive and work ethic are insane, man! Hats off to you. The entire Charlotte series has been top notch from start to finish. The North Carolina countryside looks stunning. Now, I know very little about wine, but I learned so much just from watching this video. If I didn't know any better, I would have sworn Raffaldini was somewhere in Italy. Such a beautiful estate and the countryside and mountains in the background...gorgeous! The people at Raffaldini and Shelton both seem so friendly. Must have been fun to spend some time at both of them. And the food you had at Shelton's restaurant looks outstanding as usual. What an awesome way to cap off an amazing series. Looking forward to the next video!
Brandon Moore I know right. I was on a mission to make the best content I could for them and that meant a lot of running around and stuffing my face while speaking to my audience. Insane!
Hi David! Okay Mr Elegant, now you showing us your fancy side! Loved it! Charlotte doing it like that? I thought you were in Italy or In my neck of the woods, California Napa valley. Looked really beautiful. And the food looked absolutely stunning. Loved the music, too! Another awesome video! God Bless! Safe travels!
As a resident of Charlotte, NC myself, foodie, wannabe Iron Chef, some would say wine connoisseur, and having being already in Barcelona, Madrid, Lisbon, Paris, Athens and Rome (The Wine Countries), how it’s possible that this Miami guy has found this (2) great vineyards (Raffaldini/Shelton) less than (2) hours from CLT under our noses? Impressive! More than that, my favorites reds are Italian; how convenient! The very best of the world!! What I am really not impressed is about the beauty of North Carolina as a whole; it’s not just Asheville, NC (which should be your next stop); it’s stunning beautiful everywhere! I always say that North Carolina is the California of the east...About the Tannat at Shelton, it’s a very tannic grape from France, usually a blending grape, that it’s today the official grape of Uruguay, also known as the Uruguayan Malbec. One of the best wines that I ever had in my life was a Malbec/Tannat blend from SaIta, Argentina: SENSATIONAL! Also, I agree 100% with you about the duck; one of the best dark meats in the world, but very hard to find...
This is a great video😊 Thank you David for this👍 We also had no idea that North Carolina has wine. But as we are great wine lovers we can higly recommend you South African wines. In one of our vlogs we actually covered them. Cheers😉
I just subscribed to your channel. You have a really great camera presence! Can I give you some advice. You should do more shows with your father. The two of you have great chemistry! I have watched your Brazilian meat video like 3 times now. Loved the way you and your Dad just eating and chitchatting . Also, I liked the way you threw in a little review about the car you rented while driving on the Pacific coast..more of that please. A food and car review channel would be awesome and separate you from the rest of the food channels! Rent really nice or different cars and review them as you go from restaurant to restaurant. Your channel would blow up!
@@Davidsbeenhere I'm such a mom! Lol😂😆🙊 I actually love broccoli but didn't used to until I got pregnant with my first daughter (like a bazillion years ago) and my mom made it with Velveta & mixed veggies and then I couldn't get enough of it. Haha! I love your videos. ❤ I'm such a foodie! But there's no way I could eat as much as you do. I don't know how you do it. 😏😒😏 You should come to El Paso, TX. There are a lot of really good & authentic Mexican restaurants here, not that TexMex shit. The local mom & pop, hole in the wall restaurants are the best! Very yummy. Some have even expanded city wide with several restaurants. Look us up on Google, type in best eats in El Paso TX and I'm sure the top 10 best places to get some very good grub pop up. Don't stop at just Mexican though, there's some very good BBQ places, Italian, Greek, etc. I also put into my 2¢ and review the places I eat at. Some are not that good and some are amazing. BTW in your street food vids from Mexico City, you kept referring to the nopalitos as green beans. Nopalitos are cactus, & very different from green beans. You should definitely try tacos de nopal or nopalito tacos. They're made with soft corn tortillas, the nopalitos, onion, cilantro, jalapeño, tomato, queso fresco, and Mexican sour cream. (Real Mexican sour cream is different from the American kind. But I'm sure you know that.) And naturally you must wash it down with some real agua fresca. (There are a lot of restaurants that stopped making the real kind and use a powdered kool-aid type of agua fresca. It's good but not authentic. Anyway, I'm sure I've said a mouthful. Do think about giving us a visit, we might just be vlog worthy. 😃👍 PROVECHO!!!!
