@@TonyChettleburgh Kawasaki engines are generally pretty bulletproof as are Suzuki.....I used to do a few GSXR1000 engines for a world endurance team and those things would do thousands of race miles with no issues!
All clearances, specs etc checked prior to assembly 👍....but as a general rule I've never had to adjust ring gaps on any "modern" engines.....older stuff yes but manufacturing tolerances are so much better these days 😁👍
I have a 2006 Kawasaki ZX 636 runs good / recently I bought a 2005 Kawasaki ZX 636 I want to build it HP any suggestions? I live in CA Hard to find any aftermarket parts.just got a power commander 6 for my 06 any suggestions on installing it also came chain tensioner adjustment??

@skandix Supersport rules over here you're not allowed to remove material to weight match rods etc but obviously they have been weighed and paired up as best as they can be, all checks, specs and measurements done prior to assembly 😉😁
I was wondering why you dont have the crank lightened & balanced or gram balance the rods & pistons but then I realized thats due to the supersport rules.
very clean workshop 👍

@ yer we just order the Suzuki part number one 😀
Hi, love watching an engine build. How do you find Kawasaki engines for durability compared with say Suzuki ?

@PalmerPerf_ Thanks very much for your reply 😀
No need to check ring gaps?

@@PalmerPerf_ Thanks for the info.
I enjoy your videos.
What is the back story, why is this engine being rebuilt?
Assume original cases, did they require any machining?
Thanks.

Hi Palmer, wich maker is that piston ring compressor?
I see, it even has nice lip on the bottom side, making whole job a treat.
Keep a good work sir!!
@@matejdivic9149 Wiseco but the lip on the bottom I machined myself 👍

You didn't weight the pistons and Con Rods to precisely match/balance them?
