The lecture is really good, could you please tell how the issue date gets grouped in months. when i try to do it it comes seperatly each date. it does not come like in video.
if you have a problem with issue_date here is what I did i opened the format cell custom then type mmm/dd/yyyy then replace - with / then manually switch the 4 bad data cell day and month to month and day hit enter and it will fix it its not that bad because you only need to manually do 4 bad data cell but it there's a better solution tell me because its a pain if you need to do a lot more manual change Edit: the last_credit_pull_date column is worst I don't know the fix unless you do it manually Edit 2: Found a solution first replace the - and / with . then find the position of " . " also find the 2nd position of " . " use Left, Mid, and Right Function to get the day month and year finally use the =Date() Function then its now cleaned and format it as mmm/dd/yyyy if you like

According to the statement problem, In loan status grid view, it was also asked about the MTD funded and recieved amount. I think u missed out on adding it to the first dashboard
I just find out the best method for the dates format after trying all the formet on the comment section. Try this: Convert Text Dates to Real Dates: Use the "Text to Columns" feature to convert them into real date format: Click "Text to Columns." In the wizard, choose "Delimited" and click Next. Uncheck any delimiters and click Next again. Under Column Data Format, select Date, and choose DMY Click Finish. apply the long date format: Select the cells with the new dates. Right-click and choose "Format Cells". select Date. Choose the Long Date format.

U can make calendar table when using time intelligence functions like MTD , Calendar table will not have any duplication hence there will be no uncertainty in results. Put date in rows and set hierarchy to month if u want month format
QUICK FIX: Create 'issue_month' column before you start working on your pivot table. Then instead of adding 'issue_date' to the rows, you add 'issue_month'. (the data type of the 'issue_date' is not correct)

Either extract month from the date column in data itself, using Text(Cell, “mmmm”). Cell means the cell in which date is present Then use that month in pivot tables
