I hope you guys can grab a snack and spend the next 10 minutes with me while I lay out nothing but facts, let me stop. I hope you guys can enjoy the content. Let me know anything I can change, fix, and or do better. It would be greatly appreciate it.

The irony is that this is exactly what happens with Mortal Kombat 1, almost all the content creators (with very few exceptions) make negative videos on MK1 just to make money and just because the FGC and the MK community itself try to put legs in MK1's way, and then these content creators and pro players said that they are gonna jump to Tekken 8. Now that T8 got the MTX shop and battle pass and the honeymoon phase if over, everyone jumps on T8 just as much as on MK1. Even SF6 gets negative videos now that it's no longer the shiny new toy.

@@RoyArkon I played NRS games since Injustice one. I just don't like the way how NRS neglects their games. No updates on time, no communication no nothing. But you have a point.

@@cptnaizen I have played MK games since MK2, and NRS/WB still make the best fighting games overall. They do give updates at the proper time, and the communication is just fine. In fact they give updates to MK1 with more content more frequently than either Tekken 8 or SF6, and the latter had a HUGE gap of 5 months between characters, and since Tekken 8 has only 4 chars for season 1 just like SF6, I won't be surprised if the gaps between chars there would be the same. Can't say that for MK1 though.

Well made video. These sort of people are doubled edge swords causing a ripple effect thing is negatively invented opinionated videos are long lasting than actual positive or viable ones its something wrong with the platform itself too that encourages such

You are very funny. But stating a group’s shift in opinion doesn’t say anything. Most big Tekken content creators at least started with 7, but many started before, and 6/7 in particular were games dominated by movement and defensive options (especially 7). So people were unhappy with the state of the game. Harada and Co have been extremely transparent and responsive when patching and have targeted player problems. So it is unsurprising that people changed their view. The nerfed many overturned moves, buffed low tiers, removed a lot of homing properties (including command grabs), and removed a lot of vortexes and 50/50s. Why wouldn’t that make people happy.

@@michaelcarrig627 Yeah your perspective is having legacy knowledge. I'm talking from this being my first real Tekken game, coming from a 2D space. And I'm in love, I think it's one of the best fighting games in the modern era. But I'm coming with starry eyes you know. So you're probably right. All the new tools like heat and chip damage. That's regular for us Street fighter players, and MvC and all that, so it doesn't bother players that come from that.

@@cptnaizen My point is that there is not some conspiracy or hivemind. I am a legacy player that has really enjoyed T8. But it is important to understand those who you disagree with, rather than assume the worst. Their critiques do not take from your enjoyment. And I believe the critiques have made Tekken 8 a more stable and fair game.
