Man this is awesome stuff. I just wish the people I know would see value in how important it is in giving it your all, in remembering who we are doing this for. We aren’t practicing to glorify ourselves, we are taking the time to practice, to glorify God, in expanding those God given talents like you guys were talking about. People think this is all for a performance, but practice (if I am being honest) can take lots of the worry away, and give space for us to worship during the song. It would be like the md just calling out the numbers so seamlessly without even thinking, but then also focusing on their own time with God during the worship. Anyways, I felt like this was made at the right time. Haven’t finished watching it yet, but many of the stuff you guys were talking about, hit the nail on the head.
If using something like Ableton Live or a set pad, can you be creative? In other words, can you still extend a section of the song that you clearly see the congregation is being blessed by the whole worship experience. Just to be fair, not a fan of Ableton type of guide tracks. Thanks.
we use ableton as a musical instrument just like any other! You can definitely loop and extend a section. We use tracks in a way that serves the worship of the Church, not the other way around!
Yes! I am CONSTANTLY preaching the gospel of Gap Click. I NEVER hear about it in the wild!
