NEW ARK CONTENT! (Homestead Update)
With S+ Implemented into the base game of ARK: Survival Evolved, I made Minas Tirith from the Lord of the Rings. This update vastly improves the building system in Ark as triangles are essential for building in survival games. The large walls are also a great addition.
The build took me around 30 hours to build and I have edited it down to a 3 hour speed build video. The whole build is showcased at the end. You might think you don't want to watch a 3 hour video on TH-cam, but the amazing music in here might change your mind.

@@zomdrag5360 Building on Ark can be a major pain in the butt but afterwards it's so rewarding. Regarding the clipping, if u play on single or unofficial, u can change it on the server settings if i'm not mistaken 😅
Now this would be a really cool pvp battle environment, imagine you have two giant tribes (30 members each) one defends, one attacks, admin makes all basic structure indestructible except gates and the railings on the wall, would be more than one epic battle because you could play it unlimited which makes it more fun to me than just destroying everything with just the goal to break stuff especially if it is sooo beautiful ... imagine fighting through every ring of Minas Tirith trying to get to the top and take over ... while getting shot by bow and arrow from the walls and trying to escape the claws of only a very low amount of wyverns and rexes so that the main combat is sword on sword

I usually pull my hair out trying to build in ark. I wish the building in ark was more like Conan exiles.
Too bad alot of builds are just impossible without creative mode. I would love to see a build even half the size this good without creative mode on a legit server.

Because ARK is not that good of a game only having a small community and being extremely half-assed and all the hate the dev's received drawing even more people away from anything related to them. Honestly you can build anything on Minecraft though. You can build with more detail too, but it's difficult to compare the two building systems.

I did the quick maths and calulated the amount of ressources he needed for those of you who rebuild this on officials x1 Servers:
• 840.000.000.000 Stone +/- 9000
• 420.000.000.000 Wood +/- 420
• 123.000.000.000 Thatch +/- 12 btw
If needed I can give the exact amount of buildingparts, too or create a video, how to calculate that.
(lil' extra: 86.000 parts got destroyed these days)

you joking right? before fastening it was probably like more then 10 tb depends on the format it was filmed in, if he recorded with fraps it was at least 10 TB..... 1 TB is like 1 hour of capture.
@@RidleySorrey It's 1080p and 3 hours. You can easily optimize it to be WAY less than that, even just a few gigabytes. The bitrate doesn't seem to be very high

How did you not reach structure limit???
With the building being so huge, you have 10500 items to place on every initial point across your rendered distance. He doesn't cover merely half that with the building alone, being so huge as it is. If he were to fully furnish it, every corner of it, in busyer parts of the build he might reach the limit.
Actually, he did reach the structure limit. He went into the code and increased it to a ridiculous number. 2:09:30
