- The Muppets Take the Bowl as Kermit the Frog, his old friend Paul Williams, who composed the "Rainbow Connection," and Bobby Moynihan perform the song live with The Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, Thomas Wilkins, conductor. A fireworks finale concludes the show.

Matt's Kermit voice reminds me of Jim Henson when I first saw The Muppet Movie

@@TamSkylonobi Matt is getting better and I got to say that it's getting close to Jim's Kermit voice. Not exactly like it, but close. Kermit isn't about the voice though... it's his character that makes us love him.

Don't want to be too critical of a beautiful song sung live, but I gotta ask how was it filmed? Was it a camcorder or a camera phone, cos didn't it have a zoom?
Sadly, captured with an iPhone 6 camera lens (not like the 3-4 camera lenses on phones today) and intentionally a wider shot to include the side monitors and fireworks. This was just a way to document a beautiful night at the bowl, not to create a beautiful documentary. We’re glad you enjoyed the performance.

Hey! do you have any of the "Beat Box" sketch that Scooter did right before this? I've been looking everywhere for a single video that had both, the way they dimmed the light mid-sketch then had it lit slowly to reveal the set for The Rainbow Connection was the most heart-wrenching moment of the performance, I'd do anything for it.
Victor Kolbe - Anything? Just kidding. Yes I have most of the intro skit with Scooter and Bobo the Bear, but with the clip already approaching 13 minutes made the edit to focus on the end theme and fireworks finale.
Victor Kolbe - I posted a shortened version with most of the beatbox sketch for you. As for your giving "anything"... a small donation to any of the relief organizations helping the survivors of the recent hurricanes would be a great thing, Cheers.
