But she was brainwashed by Talon (Reaper's organisation) to become a sniper, and they slowed her heartrate (which is why she is blue). Ana couldn't take the shot, because she would be killing a "friend" and was conflicted, even though there was nothing left of Amelie in Widowmaker, only a shell of the person she once was. If you have any other Lore questions, ask me, I've memorised most of it :)
If you play as pharah and get a good direct hit with your rockets, and there's a soldier 76 on your team, he will say something like "Looks like you got your aim from your mother". So, she probably knows.

Judging by the conversation on that schematic of the sniper rifle it sounds like they both worked closely together, maybe involved in a lot of the same projects for Overwatch. They're also from around kind of the same area geographically so maybe they bond over that too. They both seem pretty chummy with Reinhardt.

oh yes. Widowmaker was originally the wife of an Overwatch agent. She got taken by the badguys, brainwashed and hit with a ton of mad science, then sent back to kill as many as she could. Apparently Ana had a shot at killing her and preventing the deaths, but screwed up.

Ana is a total badass. So she scoped in with her right eye, it got injured by widow maker and now she still shoots right handed but scopes with her left eye. That's why she kinda leans over when she scopes in. And her voice lines when she sleeps an enemy are hilarious!!

I love watching this video, because it truly sounds like an actual story instead of something made up just for the story of overwatch. it does damage ana. I have tested it in ptr. you can also reflect sleep dart and her grenade E ability. Not surprising though, since Genji can even reflect soldier's healing station.

Judging by the conversation on that schematic of the sniper rifle it sounds like they both worked closely together, maybe involved in a lot of the same projects for Overwatch. oh yes. Widowmaker was originally the wife of an Overwatch agent. She got taken by the badguys, brainwashed and hit with a ton of mad science, then sent back to kill as many as she could. Apparently Ana had a shot at killing her and preventing the deaths, but screwed up.

Ana is a total badass. So she scoped in with her right eye, it got injured by widow maker and now she still shoots right handed but scopes with her left eye. That's why she kinda leans over when she scopes in. And her voice lines when she sleeps an enemy are hilarious!!

it does damage ana. I have tested it in ptr. you can also reflect sleep dart and her grenade E ability. Not surprising though, since Genji can even reflect soldier's healing station.
