Is creep control only available for a machine with the advanced display?
Yes, creep control is a feature that is provided with the Advanced Display. If your machine does not have the full color, Advanced Display monitor you can work with your local Cat dealer to purchase a kit to make this conversion. I have a PC 205B attached to a Cat 262D3. How do I side shift, and why when every time I switch direction of travel the arms / bucket / implement drops a foot without a hand on the bucket controls?

You will need to resurface it afterwards. It doesn't get a smooth cut, just a precise cut.
