What set up did you have? Rod, reel, line, rig, bait, etc? TIA!

Actually I had probably the easiest rig. 65# braid heavy duty swivel tied to 6’ of 200# mono w/a circle hook that covered my palm of my hand. No weight. Just drifting w/drag super loose. Worked GREAT! Waited for the drag to peel and when it stopped I tightened it down. Also used the pre rigged from the bait shop w/metal leader. Results were the same. First time doing it, but I’m hooked!!!

I used mullet I got off the beach. 8”-6”. Last trip or most recent I used black drum. Worms were everywhere!! Shark bit just as fast. The wind really did me in for that trip. Wanting to go again soon. Hit me up I’ll go/meet up with you.

I’m cheap, I respect the guys that spend a lot. It’s nice hear! I’m using 10’ medium heavy(12-30lb) ugly stick paired w/SS65B Salt Striker. Old as hell. But I’m always been good😀. Kayaking, don’t use a weight. No need. I’ve never went longer than 30 min on a hook up. 2 rods=2 problems

@@Bryan_Outdoors sounds good. I've got a place in JB and fish as much as I can. I'll be out 8/6-8/10 and will hit you up. Take care!
