Morgana numbers in the spell are absolutely insane but all the damage is backloaded because the spell takes 10s to deal the full damage... Like 3* the damage is 10x the ap and that's absolutely bonkers considering most 3 cost 3* gives around 7x the damage
i love morgana the character, but in both SR and from what ive seen from the sets ive seen shes just so fundamentally flawed it seems. She's one of my favorites too, but I cant even play her in tft ever :( I only played back to snow moon morg i would have liked to try her out more last set, but whenever i was witchcraft, i was probably trying to make fiora work instead lol. or on release cassio, she was so fun.

Burn and Wound are different. Unluckily, the round Leduck checked, TG rolled a wound item on vlad. I think having a Red Buff on Morgana over nashor would be interesting since she is great at distributing wound + burn to everyone.
Still, the main hope by the last few rounds (Like vs the Twitch/Cait) was basically cast ASAP so that she hits the backline, which nashor helps a lot vs even a red buff. Roughly double the AS bonus. Wound doesn't matter that much for the backline, too.
It's an instant fire ball that also applies the normal "burn" effect. But there is a instant & max health true damage instance. How much depends on patch (7% 14.23c or 6% 14.24)
I'm curious which unit will be the best holder for automata spat in the new patch So many DOT dealers or multi hit champs like zeri or twitch, I'm curious to see Leduck's take on it
I think a gunblade on Morgana would’ve been great. Just because with Fireball + 4 star you have a lot of damage already. That would ensure that your frontline is healthier and man times Morgana died with enemy carry was also close to die
Small detail: it says launch a fireball for every 70 mana spent, so its "bad" on a character that's gotta cast twice to make it work. Dragonsoul would've been way more effective at what he was trying to do IMO since morgana skill almost always targets a new enemy, but maybe I'm wrong and the chosen augment was in fact better

Yes but if you go arch angel on morgana you need GIGA frontline. Cause it's less upfront damage meaning more dmg and CC threats. Also counter synergy with fireball (you just want max casts with that). If you run only 2 visionary with full blackrose and some very beefy tanks you could do arch angel JG and Guardbreaker on her for good dmg. (When her dot hits a shield all the DoTs currently ticking will increase in dmg) she will cast way less often but will actually hurt when she does. Still not ideal as she simply doesn't do enough DPS and fights where you can survive 30 sec for Overtime DPS boost on the DoTs is unreasonable to expect. (You need perfected shimmer bloom or something to have a frontline alive that long) Anyways Morg needs buffs they can reduce the DoT duration while keeping the dmg cause honestly it takes too long for her to do dmg and she doesn't constantly stack infinite DoT like Malza does so she just tickles enemies.
The thing is Archangels snapshots the damage, damage will only go up once the skill is reapplied to the enemy. The dot doesn't increase in damage even if the archangels stack went up if it isn't reapplied.
The contrast between strongest and weakest carry this set is insane. You have camille, who has insane damage and survivability, and morgana who deals damage too slow

always feel morgana sucks because of the dot damage taking way long, confirmed carry potential not good by this game play lol
he was playing in late game with a 1 star front line while playing dot dmg. started instantly winning when he got a decent frontline.

Dragonsoul unfortunately only triggers once per enemy on the board.

The fireball is going off. I think you misunderstood the fireball it self has a 2 hex range not that the caster has to be within a 2 hex range
