Because like Persephone was the goddess of spring, so naturally she brought life to the world. But she also had a darkside that she found out about herself later too. So Persephone could create life, but she also had the power to destroy that life that she created!
Basically, Persephone is a dark angel lol. Because dark angels aren't evil at all, dark angels are actually more neutral if anything I think. Fallen angels are angels who broke heaven rules.

some extra lore about kitakya togemu: after the corrupted poison element rabbit [name is bunnila] attacked her, the poison [has dark energy inside it because the user was corrupted] tried to turn kitakya into a corrupted fairy element cat but failed. she is now known as the chosen one to arceus and giratina and was formally known as a queen in the lore, but that idea was soon scrapped. it IS canon in the lore that people believe kitakya's parents were royalty, so they refer to her as "queen kitakya", even though she is not canonically a queen in the lore. if you want more lore i am happy to give it to you in the comments but i am lazy. so byeeee! :)
