will there be any issue due to the high temperatures of the exhaust?like does the paint last for a long time ?
You can opt for heat resistant paint if you want. That will certainly last longer. This one is quite inexpensive, so even if it wears off, you can just repaint it.
Looks so much better than stock! IDK why suzuki thought a chrome exhaust will look better on a matte black bike int he first place lol!

Why use sand paper?
To make the surface rough. That way the paint will stick to the surface better.
Why you had used sanding papers?
To make the surface rough. Otherwise the paint will not stick.
