I've spent a lot of time in similar looking Winnipeg but have never visited Edmonton. Looks like a nice city. Some of my old co-workers and classmates have moved out there. I bet the prairie summers are lovely there. Cheers from London (Ontario)
Thanks for watching 😀! Edmonton definitely has its charm-it’s a growing city with a mix of urban and natural vibes. Prairie summers here? Amazing! Long days, beautiful sunsets, and so much green space to enjoy. If you’ve spent time in Winnipeg, Edmonton might feel familiar but with its own twist. If you ever make it out here, let me know-I’ll have some scenic drive suggestions for you! Cheers to you in London, Ontario!
@@CnekYT Haha, the classic north vs. south debate strikes again! I’m with you on this one-the south side has some awesome new developments. Downtown and the north definitely have a bit of older character to it. It’s like 2 totally different sides of the same coin!
Absolutely NOTHING in Edmonton is "iconic" or "vibrant" LOL. This is the deadest, saddest excuse for a city I have ever lived in - and I've lived in 6 provinces and spent a decade in Europe.
You know what. You have a point LOL but for the very least I think Edmonton still has something to offer but I totally understand that the city has changed a lot in the last couple years.
@@CnekYT Fair take! Edmonton’s got its own vibe-festivals, the river valley, and of course, the Oilers keeping things exciting during the playoffs - but yeah, sometimes both cities can feel a bit... low-key. Guess it depends on what you’re into LOL!

It's nice if you stick to the south side, but the north side is pretty bad

Where is the North Edmonton Mall? 😊
We can add that to our list :)

@@CnekYT Will definetly cover Northgate Centre in a future episode :)

I honestly prefer Edmonton over Calgary when it comes to things to do - both cities are rather boring though
