Is there a single reason to play Gogeta blue with the meter nerf ? I don't see one. Sure, with sparking, you "get rid of the meter nerf", but, there is no reason to have to use sparking just to get normal meter gain. And with character being able to do 2-3 bars meter gain in combo and Gogeta barely able to have 1 bar meter gain... Even if you think he can kill with sparking and level 7, what's the point ? Base Goku spark + limit break have normal meter gain, and can kill with 5 bars from a raw level 1 (instead of seven), a command grab and a better level 3 oki (if you use vanish).
Gogeta Blue is still very good in all other areas though, what they devs did was meter nerf the most popular teams so you won't use Gogeta Blue, Vegito on the same team anymore, using a character with a meter nerf is fine as long as the rest of your team makes up for it.
