This week... is the start of my university exams, assignments and essays. My piano practice time is at an all time low, so this was just an improvisation from today. It is the pain of balancing TH-cam and University ;__;
I've always listened to this soundtrack from AnoHana. The left hand of this reminds me of the constant sound of trains and the crossing alarms... and for some reason, I wanted to make the second part of the arrangement to NOT have that left hand sound - no rhythm, as if the train has departed and we are all alone at the train station.
That's it for this week. Next week, I will still be busy with exams and such, but I'll try my best to arrange something for you guys.
Until then, I hope you enjoy this nostalgic soundtrack from Anohana.

when I die..... I know Anime are real... I want to see Menma & Obito. If I see Menma I would probably say Menma I found you.... If i see Obito, I would probaly say to him that you & I are the same, same past same destiny. When I was 17 my gf is gone. I started crying in the plane & when i got to house f or 3 months. Everytime when i'm in school my heart keeps on hurting I wanted to cry.

ThouYenger thats true for there are all my friends or should I say their memory, since that last day... we've all parted ways, some moved away and others stayed around, me I moved away, and man it feels like yesterday we were all laughing and joking around at the lunch table, talking about how we just wanted to pass and go to college or see the world. Looking back on those times makes me feel a little sad and lonely, I wonder where they all are now...

I love how you keep emotional songs emotional. Many pianists tend to make their transcriptions up-beat and fast paced for no reason at all. You keep it how it should be and only pick up the tempo when the song requires you to. That's how transcriptions should be made. Keep up the good work ^^
Damn. This song reminded me the pain of losing Menma. It felt like I was friends with her and it hurts seeing her go. This is so beautiful, I'm so glad he posted this. I really like this guy!!!! Haha!

This guy is gonna love Shigatsu Wa Kimi No Uso, it's about music, the protagonist is a genius pianist, the plot is all about his personal troubles, while a romance with a great violinist.

This kind of flashback are important you know? It let's you know the characters background and also understanding their feelings. Never rooted for childhood friend route until i saw the flashbacks from the childhood friend of the MC (forgot their names) Now i'm hoping for it more than i ever had.
InsigniaPun I thought SAO was doing well for itself after the GGO arc, it may have not been as dramatic as the rest of the show, but it was pure mmorpg action we all wanted, just like what Log Horizon gave us.
***** Yea i know i also wanted to see that but then when it actually came, i realized just how boring that was... but the mother rosario arc have finally come in SAO. That arc is good.

It started off with "Oh, wow, this is so pretty. I really like this."
And then it hit 1:24.
AND SOMEONE STARTED CHOPPING ONIONS.
A tear trickles, outlining her soft cheeks. Menma tilts her head a little, hair falling around her shoulder like silky curtains. She blinks some tears away, trying to whisper her existence to the Secret Base gang. Although her body is weak, not physically or from an illness, but emotionally, she smiles a smile filled with fragility and joy and says, "You found me."
That, is where the feels hit me like standing on a thin blanket of ice that has covered the lake; slowly and surely, breaking, slowly and surely, sinking, slowly, and surely ... drowning.

I guess the holiday season is the perfect time to bring on the feels. Anohana was one of the most greatest experiences I had. Your performance was phenomenal. Keep it up man.
~ishter-kun~ It's alright to miss a week or two... even more... You upload so often already as it is, take time off for University. Your older transcriptions can hold us over until then. Doing a transcription every week is very time consuming and you have Uni on top of that. We all love your transcriptions, but I don't think any of us would want you to do bad in University for them. We can wait. Take your time ! :3

The first part makes me think of a train just leaving the station, like you said, with a very person, of significance to you, inside, leaving for another place. The second part where you added the ED song in, is like when you are having flashbacks of all the times spent with this person, both the good and bad. And the last part is like that sudden realization hitting you, that this person is truly leaving. I just love how your playing brings this scene out vividly.

I like how with your left hand you play a continuous rhythm that sounds like a railroad crossing bell. It really fills in the background and gives emphasis to the parts without it

I played the beginning of this piece unintentionally when practicing a different song on my piano and wondered where I had heard this from, I went on my computer beside me and asked my friend who was on voice chat if he knew what the song was.
