Hi Aaron - I'm enjoying your videos very much, and I'm learning a lot - will you ever do one that addresses the nonprofit sector? Thanks again for all your hard work!
Hey mate - I'm looking to help NPO's out with Google ads free of charge as part of my practice of Google ads - would you be interested in working together?
hey, nice conent! I have a question regarding targeting phrases and keywords on google ads. Is it prohibited to target keywords or phrases such as "vape" "smoke" for example if i would want to target the phrase "Car windshield vape residue cleaner" ? Thank you
What if there are no low competition keywords, can you target high competition. If so what is the disadvantage to targeting high or medium competition keywords
Do you not waste a lot of money by starting off with those broad keywords? Why not start off with some more relevant phrase match keywords that you found in your keyword research and then add exact matches? Would that not save money and also bring in relevant search terms?
Starting with more relevant phrase match keywords can indeed save money and attract more targeted traffic. It's a solid strategy to begin with. Contact me if you need assistance or have more questions.
I think the key here is to start out with long tail broad match keywords instead of short ones and to not start out with to many in each ad group. I was surprised to learn that Google uses additional signals for broad matches (landing page copy, etc) that it doesn't use for phrase so, while I typically do exactly what you said, a test might reveal that broad is cheaper and converts better. Won't know until we give it a try. 😊
Hey Aaron (or anyone else who sees this question) At the 10.20 mark, we can see a total of 11 keywords across 3 campaigns, is Aaron saying that this is all he would be using to begin the campaign? So 3-5 keywords per campaign?
Hi Aaron! Thank you for all your efforts in explaining every Google Ads tiny details. I really appreciate your work. I just have a question: how many keywords must a group ad have? If search terms are activated by some keywords already in the ad group, do I have to add them as a keyword, or can I be safe that they will be activated anyway?
Aim for around 5-20 keywords per ad group for relevance. If search terms are triggered by existing keywords, no need to add them separately. Contact me for more clarification or assistance.
can i do this also without paying money first? Just to see what will happen or make a demo settings? I dont know how to come to the page you are. I type in google keyword planer and i come to it - but then i have to make a payment of $ 10.00 first.
Thanks for all these videos Aaron, I have a question. Let's say the keywords we are targeting had low volume in the previous month (October 2023) and now they have a increased volume in the current month (nov 2023), but Google won't update it's keywords volume till 8-9th next month (dec 2023), So, I want you to know that can we still take advantage of that increased volume of keywords in month of novemeber even though Google does not have updated data. to make it more clear, let's say, it was 100 searches in (oct) had I had 60% impression share, but now in November, it's 1000 searches, Can I still have 60% or more impression share which is 600 searches according to Increased volume or it will be still 60 searches out of 100...because google has not updated it keywords planner. Hope you got my point.
your concern. Despite Google's delayed update, you can take advantage of increased keyword volume in November. Adjust your strategy based on the observed growth, potentially maintaining or even improving your impression share. Feel free to DM for more detailed advice.
Guys this single keyword trick may or may not work for real estate & villa rental but for e- commerce and other business you u need to have more keywords and set up broad or phrase keyword
Sir, if I use broad match I am basically wasting money into finding new keyword without any sales, should I choose click as my main motive or conversion?
It depends on your goals. If discovering new keywords is crucial, use broad match with a focus on clicks. However, if sales are your priority, prioritize conversions. It's a balance; consider adjusting based on performance.
What do you do if you put together a solid list of keywords into the keyword planner and no results pop up? I am a life coach for parents of children with autism and I want to sell my $10 potty guide. Is the topic too senstive?
Something that it's not clear is how come you didn't mention the location of the villas in any of your keywords? Maybe that's soemthing that you set up within Google.
What do you do when all your keywords come back with zero results and zero suggestions because you're in a rather niche market audience? Any suggestions welcome.
Check the search volume for your terms using the keyword tool. I'd also check that your 'Audience' targeting is set to 'observation' instead of 'targeted'. There are many more things to consider (population in target area?) but I'd start with these two. What's the niche?
Crisp, smart way of explaining, necessary and sufficient information. That was helpful. Thank you.
You putting this up for free is actually clutch - praise to you

What's the good number of ads for an ad group? Is it one?
1 to 2 ads per ads group.

Is it okay to target keywords below 30 average monthly traffic
for paid ads you should minimum 1k average monthly traffic.
