After seeing 4:40 I decided that if I ever get this game, then I'm going to cram 1-ups into a single spot for a reward room.
I feel like a lot of 3DW SMM2 courses fall for an "everything and the kitchen sink" sort of trap, where there'll be maybe a little bit of theming, but most of the course is just random ideas isolated in individual rooms separated by warp cubes. If you look at the original courses in 2D platformers, SM3DW, and even the sample courses in story mode, they'll all feature an idea that they gradually expand upon and make more challenging.
For instance, something like this course (which features a jungle section and a castle section) could have some sort of challenge/platforming bit/puzzle in the jungle section, and then echo that in the castle section, only to have it much harder due to rising/falling lava. Perhaps instead of using all three powerups at different places in the course, the creator could instead focus upon one of those powerups. The creator seemed to like clear pipes, so why not remove the extraneous sections like outrunning a banzai bill corridor and just make most of the course about navigating around obstacles spawned by those pipes in various ways?

Gonna be honest, this level is kind of a mess, there's a LOT more throwing things together and running through them, than having interesting gameplay, there's barely much thought in some of these other then get to A through B and most of the "hurdles" don't need to be thought on, because you'd already have made it past that part. The main focus of the level isn't very clear and rather then it feeling like a challenging gauntlet, it feels like pushing through while there are fancy bells everywhere.

To anyone wanting to recruit Riolu this is going to be important information!!!
I just finished getting the Lucario statue and went on the hard task of recruiting it. I looked online and herd talk about it most likely appearing in Buried Ruins. The reason for this is because there is a roster for the Mystery Houses, this roster varies depending on the typing of the dungeon, for example if you were to find a Mystery House in Fiery Fields you would find a Magmortar because he fits the theme of the dungeon. I have footage of me finding LUCARIO NOT RIOLU in the Mystery House in Buried Relics on the 38th floor where fighting types seem to be the dominant typing of that dungeon. If you attempt to do the same be wary, it is a 99 floor dungeon but the real threat are the traps. There will be traps that take a random item in your inventory and changes it, removes it etc. such as the apple trap for example.
When you do this dungeon I advise you bring a minimum of 5 escape orbs and 3-5 invitations. Better to be safe than sorry. I got lucky and got Lucario first try but because my escape orb was turned into an apple I have no way of escaping but to finish the dungeon. I had 3 invites and one turned into an apple as well. Do not make my mistake, take caution and you will find that it was worth it. Please spread the word everyone!!!
