I just finished this movie and it's the best predator movie after the 1st one. It seriously was intense and I loved the main character and the actress! They didn't go the Terminator Dark Fate route. In fact, all the characters in the movie felt grounded. Very entertaining and finally a respectable entry into the predator franchise. It was a solid 8/10 for me.

Prey was excellent! Loved the relationship between the protagonist and her brother. Really added to the emotional depth and elevated this movie beyond others in the franchise. Dakota Beavers had the best hand to hand combat with a Predator I have seen in any Predator movie!
Props to Dane Diliegro for giving respect to the iconic Kevin Peter Hall. It's really cool this young actor did his homework and praised Mr. Hall, who's been gone a long time. Without him there is no "Predator" franchise.
Amber, Dakota an Dane did an excellent job.. with their roles. I've been dying to see a decent predator since Arnold's. People say its borderline with predator 2.. the cgi with the lion an bear obviously wasn't great... an to me predator 2 was actually cringe when it came to acting but the violence made up for it. With prey The chemistry between the brother an sister was well done.. love how the brother supported his sister but from his view felt he wanted her to be safe as well as wanted her to accomplish her goal. I kinda hope they don't do a sequel only because this will actually become a classic in the future. Sequels are better left alone. Just hoping now there will be a decent predator VS alien in the future.
What you talking about, the lion, bear, wolf and even the rabbit are the best CGI animals I have ever seen, basically true to live mechanics. Those sequences with the predator vs the animals were one of the most iconic ones in the movie.
