Oh my gosh! I can't believe how much I have learned from you! Because of your shipping video and a lot of your other videos, I decided to start getting ready to set up a business of my own. I can't wait to get rolling. I ordered a few thousand dollars in supplies, shipping items, materials and some other things. My problem is deciding on just one item to sell. I love wreaths, but I also love making cards, baby items, wedding items and home decor items. I don't know if I can sell them all on one site or not. Do you think it would be weird to sell so many items in one store? I can't seem to settle on just one. I just love to create it all LOL. You are a lot younger than I am, and I so enjoy watching your videos on here. You just smile and are so happy and frankly that sets my mood for the entire day! Don't stop making videos because your positive attitude is so refreshing and welcome in these crazy times. Your just what we need right now and I mean that with all of my heart dear!!! Thank you so much for all of the great advice. As soon as my site is set up, I will let you know. Maybe you can drop by sometime and tell me what you think about it. Till then...take care :-) ...Lee
Lee Hughes oh wow, how exciting! I would definitely suggest keeping it simple at first and growing from there. If you sell on Etsy, I would suggest keeping the items in your shop similar so you don’t confuse your customers. But I can totally relate to wanting to make lots of different things. Crafting is so fun!! And I would love to check out your shop once you’ve got it set up 😊👍🏻.
Hi Jenny, love your videos. If you haven't yet, I think you should look into running ads to your own store. Ads for your bestsellers. Or create a funnel. At least research what the ads would cost. I bet you would totally crush it because I doubt your competition knows internet marketing as well as you do.
Thanks so much! I’ve definitely thought about using ads, just so I can better teach about them for my VIP group, but I have a hard time keeping up with sales as it is! Lol
The thing that really stops me from going to shopify at all is having to remit sales tax. I feel like no one talks about how nice it is that etsy deals with remitting sales tax!
I think even if I had a Shopify store I would keep up Etsy shop up. They bring a lot of traffic on their own. I have my own website, but it basically just leads people back to my Etsy shop 😂
Do you prefer Etsy or Shopify? Which of these pros and cons was the most helpful for you?

If you want to build and grow your brand then Shopify is the correct marketing tool to use.

Oh! Yes that’s so true! I guess I just assumed that Shopify did that too, or there’s maybe a plug in for that.
So once you have traffic can you close your Etsy store and have your own website?
