    I am German and just moved from Lisbon to the countryside in Alentejo in order to start my off-grid life. At the moment it's off-grid "light" in a small village where I want to learn the basics from the locals. I would love to see this documentary to continue!! All the best from Avis.

      I stayed at Fiona's lovely place (the lady who was gardening) in June 2017, did a wonderful yoga retreat with her and stayed in one of their yurts. Such an amazing location with an absolutely gorgeous garden! Unfortunately the place was devastated by a forrest fire in the fall of that year. Their whole property got destroyed, all the yurts gone. I believe they ended up renovating the old little house that was on their land after the fire and moved into that. I do wonder what the place looks like now and if nature has recovered from the fire.

      Thank you very much...I was just about to write back because I saw it in part 1...If I have enough money in the future, I was thinking of moving to Portugal, but the fires and eucalyptus are kind of scary...

    • @ProduzioniClandestine

      true... but if you don't live exactly inside the woods it should not be a problem for your safety (and if you clean the woods from the dry leaves and the leftovers from the eucalyptus tree). So they say, then I don't live there, I'm only a videographer

      Dave Richardson I don't know, I filmed him one year ago and I didn't want to focus on legal matters (which I would not have published anyway) only show the thing and place and people... I guess it's legal anyway if you don't put concrete in the ground

      If you own the land and you're out of sight I doubt the Portuguese authorities would bother you , even if it's technically illegal . The laid back attitude has its advantages as well as its disadvantages

    • @firstnamelastname-lr2vf
      @firstnamelastname-lr2vf 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@richardumfreville6914 no all of what you see in this video is illegal here, and the local council is sick of it.......many will be removed and fined at some point in the future from local word... make shit holes of beautiful places............. this guys toilet, right next to a lake, many of the large lakes here are used for drinking water and is why his idea of cutting down the trees close to the lake is also illegal, 50 meter boundary around the barrage must not be cut. if you have a river on your land anyone can walk there and graze their animals, fencing it is also illegal............... even a yurt needs planning permission and those caravans they bring with them, 6 months maximum and then can not return to any part of the same land for one year.
      The attitude of permaculture is great but not here, leaving land to overgrow is illegal and another cause of fires spreading not just bad eucalyptus owners!.......... and all land around any building for 50 meters must be cleaned by law, this is why these peoples places burned, wasting firemen's lives and time and helping spread the fires onto the forests they say they care so much about.
      not wishing to only put negative comments but it is the truth!

      @@ProduzioniClandestine I stayed in Portugal for nearly 6 months. Was invited up North to a community of people, unfortunately i never made it. I almost never made it home either. I went to Lagos and almost became a victim of never to be seen again.
      I did however go to hippy markets, festivals and spent some time with a nice girl who was living off the grid just outside of Lagos.
      Overall, i had a wonderful time, and i shall be heading back there to set up home when i'm ready.

      @VitorMadeira 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ProduzioniClandestine bem, sendo um vídeo dedicado a Portugal, teria ficado melhor algo nativo - até porque alguns dos vossos seguidores poderão ter ficado um pouco com a ideia de que a canção seria mais ou menos tradicional portuguesa.
      Mas vá, concordo que não há regra nenhuma que obrigue a ser uma canção portuguesa.

    It seems to me that most of these people went to Portugal with not much money. The only reason I might not like it there is because I am a plant based diet and not much of a gardener. To me most of the people don’t look too healthy which makes sense. Meat, fish, dairy and eggs are poison to the human body.
