The chief one that Epson sells for their 5050ub is pretty awesome. Could be easier to adjust but I got 2 lag screws into studs and 2 toggle anchors in the other 2 holes. It’s not moving! I do like the little turn click system though and wish I had that for adjustments
i'm not sure which one is rebranded, but this looks to be the same mount as the strong sm-proj-xl that i just installed yesterday, and are damn hard to find. ebay has them occasionally. i might point out that the strong had no qualifications as to which brands of projectors you can use it for. however, when i tried to mount my optoma uhz50 to it, it became clear that it was not meant for it. this mounting plate was too small for the optoma mounting holes and the optoma has only 3 mounting points and the plate has four. i was about to give up when i realized i could unscrew the feet of the optoma, rotate the mount's retractable mounting arms over the holes and re-screw the feet into the holes locking the projector in place. just in case anyone else wants to try it.
$330 isn’t so bad for a ratcheting projector mount. Especially one that looks so easy to adjust. Peerless sells their unit for $250. Last time I looked at a chief it was $400. I had a peerless and sold it when I moved to my apartment and had to do a wall/shelf mount. Now I’m back in a house and my projector (BenQ HT4550i) is ceiling mounted using BenQ’s own mount. For $70 that mount is fine. It looks better than the majority of mounts and would be less out of place in a living space. The unit basically has a tension lock. Release the lock and the projector is free to move in any direction until you re engage the lock. This does slightly suck though… for two reasons: 1. It’s impossible to make small adjustments without releasing the whole thing- and good luck trying to steady a projector perfectly by hand. 2. You can’t just get up there and adjust it yourself you HAVE to have help- one person to point the thing and the other to lock it in place. But, again, this is a smaller projector (15 lbs or so) and there is no way I’d use the BenQ for a projector anywhere near its weight capacity (supposedly 55 lbs). I’ll deal with it for now but plan to replace it with another peerless or maybe even the dream media if it fits.

Amazon has a similar one from
Viri mounts, it’s 199.99.

Looks like you're the only one who has review this mount. I clicked on the link and no reviews on their site.

Think this has isolation features looks pretty thick
Those skinny arms on the mount don't look strong enough for a NZ.
The weight rating is just at the max for the NZ7 and 8. It’s nit rated to support the NZ9 but I have seen several owners still use it.
@@FrankieKennethL I'd still use a Chief without the arms and small extra threaded bolts that could fail.
