@@tarquinioprisco8459 Honestly, now that you mention it, that's entirely possible, there _are_ players that get like that - like that pros who got tilted that the jailord had the _audacity_ to jail them and tried to prosecute them (and ended up hitting psy instead but they still deliberately aimed for jailor).
Baker is the strangest of the NA roles- Pest and Bers/Jugg had years of ToS1 to iron out the kinks and end as balanced, interesting roles, and Death makes for an interesting mini-game of guessing who's going to die that ends in the most powerful horseman, but Baker feels like it has the most difficult set-up (setting up 3 people you've visited 1-by-1 who all stay alive) without giving you a proportionally powerful result. Baker is also weird because the other NA roles feel like they're doing things tied to their horseman before transforming, but the Baker feels like they're doing it backwards, like they're trying to prevent the famine, then switching teams. I don't know if I have a *better* design idea for how to make Famine an interesting Horseman of the Apocalypse, but I don't think this one is it.
I agree. I think death and famine's abilities should have been swapped. For death, I would have done 3 "death tokens that need the player to be alive to activate. Then Baker would steal the bread of the player they visited if they died, and bread slowly goes away (the passive part of the ability). I think this solves the problem of difficulty to reward, because deaths ability is the best, no doubt about it, and then Baker is the second best, so I think this solves the problem.
@@peytonreynolds878tbh I don’t even think baker ability is the second best. In terms of strength yes, nuking everyone but 3 people sounds strong. However that is the perfect scenario when you survive that many people after popping up early. Usually baker pop up on day 5/6, and most people are already dead since then so baker could usually only kills 2-4 people per nuke. I think war is second best in terms of strength for that reason
Maybe have it reversed, they have to take bread from 3 players who are alive at the same time and those three players die as Famine emerges. Famine then gives everyone a random chance of dying each night until the famine is hanged, totally random affect would be scary (well not totally random as it doesn't hurt NAs but not decided kills), just like Jester roulette each players rolls a dice and on a certain value they die. Maybe have active roles roll a second dice when they use the night/day abilities because of exertion.
Had a game as famine where I was 1 and then went from 15, 14, 13 none of them died and killed half the town and won somehow without claiming (claimed on stand silent sk lmfao)
Weird but Doom's 3 correct targets do show blood, and so does Hex's astral attack, Rit's ritual, and Poisoner's poison. And a Shrouded person when visiting as well. So, a shrouded Seer would have blood when visiting/attacking 2 people.
My understanding from the wiki is that when a target dies of poison, the Poisoner shows blood. But it could just as easily be when a Poisoner first poisons their target. The wiki has it worded (in a table): "Poisoner (using Poison) | Shows blood"@@trivialgambit3646

@@roguechlnchllla6564 Ive actually seen a solo jailor win back in CAA in ToS1. Funniest part, is, against what you would think, he was actually kinda passive. He was also 1 on the list.
I had a game the other day with a jailor who legit game-threw. A Psy came out with their will D2 consisting of a TP, a Coro & 1 person who refused to claim but was pushing others. No one gets hung & game moves on. D3 the coro reveals it's a CL game & the TP get's confirmed. The coro sadly get's hung leaving things at a 1f1 between the psy & the non claimer. N3 the Jailor, who turned out to be the non-claimer pushing everyone, jailed the confirmed TP & exed them cause they apparently claimed BG in the day chat & were now claiming cleric to him but the TP never claimed BG. It was obvious to everyone the TP was a cleric cause of what was said. D4 the chat is chewing out the, still hidden, jailor for exeing the confirmed TP. Jailor dc's from the game in dishonor & cause of his actions town lost the game
In the second game you won anyways, but you coulda prevented the enchanter from dying by looking at the jailer will. In the will the jailer said 2 claimed vet
