I do want our house to always be full of love and healthy food! So thank you again, for this perspective. When we move into the new house and have more space in the kitchen, I look forward to teaching the kids how to make healthy food so we can spend time together at the same time!
I am from Hawaii and we don't do real trees there (they're hard to get and prohibitively expensive), so even when I'm not in the islands I still prefer a fake tree.😄The one you got is gorgeous! My dad was in the service; some of the songs my mom used to play when she was missing him badly (like Carole King's 'So Far Away') will always have a special place in my heart. Your little ones will never forget these days with you, and they will remember how their mom got everyone through the hardest times with honesty, strength and grace. 💞

I just want to say I have always loved your videos and had respect for you as a fellow military spouse. My husband is on his first underway since having our son. He is a little over two months and yesterday was one of those days I just struggled and had a mini melt down at the end of the day. But like you said the small stretches are easier because relief is close by. My husband will be leaving for 6month in February and I’m not ready. But I just wanted to say I love your videos!

You are AMAZING! And yes, it would be easier to do grocery pickup or even grocery delivery. But it's also good to teach kids that it's a balance and they're not always going to be doing exactly what makes THEM personally happy. There are sacrifices in life and kids need to know that. It's a hard lesson to learn but not-so-hard if you learn it in small steps. Love to you!

Deployments are so emotionally and physically draining and the countdown till the day they come home never seems to come fast enough. I was gifted a travel coffee cup one year that said, "I'm a military spouse, what's your super power?" 😁 Your job at home is very important and some days are hard as heck but you are enough! Go get that countdown calendar out and start marking off the days till hubby gets home ❤️
