Snugggles did Chickens and Burning rubber, I wouldn't have had any idea where to begin with those levels. I do know the RNG isn't technically random, and that things you do in the game can influence the outcome of the RNG you get
So a few questions about this TAS: 1. Is there any specific reason why the TAS doesn't soft reset before each boss? Ik that in the WR it's faster to Soft reset right after autosaving because it skips the cutscene. 2. In world 1, when you grab the rope and it launches you, is that any faster than just having the guard blow up the gate to the second half of the world?
1. The run was meant to look like it was done from the boot of the game to the end. One smooth run from start to finish without resets. Way cooler this way imo 2. Yes
Do you know for certain if the most recent PCSX2 version (1.6.0) has -rr built into it? I see it on the official github and it throws me off because it says it's there, but when i check, it's not. I've already defaulted to the 1.4.0-rr version just to save the headache for now but I figured i'd ask
That was awesome, so much tech that's not used in a live run to be showcased! Is there any of this tech here that isn't currently used in runs that you'd consider implementing?
I could see implementing a few small movement optimizations and things like the faster route in A Daring Rescue. But most of this stuff is really really hard to pull off

I doubt 1.6.0 has -rr built in unless specified, but we used 1.4.0-rr for this anyway and it seemed to work quite well

Is this periscope proxy humanly possible? Can get the proxy, but I’ve never been able to launch directly to the key.
It's been done by one or two people in practice. It's extremely hard to get under normal circumstances
