I find it so interesting to see what you look for in a house and what the differences are between North American and European homes. Also, trust me, neither seize nor rooms nor layout over here in Germany are what you are looking for :)
Yes was thinking the same :D Just the fact that these houses are build on one level alone is very uncommon. I mean smaller bungalows - sure but I can't recall seeing these kinds of sprawling houses anywhere here :'D
Germany is the size of Florida with 4 times the people so of course there will be more land available. I'm Polish but live in Canada and my family was shocked at the size of my appliances when they came here 😅
Yay for the cottage core vibes and goodbye to the cookie cutter houses! These are my type of houses and property I live for! The extra price is worth it, you won't regret it, believe me. I live in a rural-ish area and my boys always have adventures exploring the woods out back....one time my oldest came back carrying a dead baby fox he found!
First house-if it has been on the market a month with no other offers in that hot market, you definitely don’t offer more. Offer the same at most and/or try to offer more but ask for closing costs and repair credits. Work your expenses into the deal.
The wood is pecky cypress. I grew up in South Florida in a coquina rock home with walls covered in pecky cypress. I can still remember that wonderful smell. I want to mention that I really appreciate your kindness when you're touring and commenting on these homes. You're also so nice about each owner's taste and style.
As someone who grew up with those staircases with the gaps between the steps - they are less of a hazard then they seem at first sight if that gives you any peace of mind. I'd say they're safer than the brick/cobblestone house with all of the small level changes anyway haha
The last two houses were my favorite, but that second to last house was my absolute favorite. I’m sure the best will come along for you guys but I’m loving these house hunting videos 😊
Happy Saturday. Wow i absolutely loved most of these homes..The flamingo house is great. But the last home is Perfect.. A jack and Jill bathroom yes please. Oh i hope y'all get your forever home out of one of these.. Thanks for bringing us along. So much fun.. Stay safe.. Love your Indiana Friend. 💜💙
I love how you speak to your kids when they r doing something you don't want them to do, your so respectful to them but direct and they stop straight away, your a good mother.
OMG that second house is living my best 70s fantasy ❤️ it’s like walking through a vintage Ethan Allen catalog. I hope someone loves this house so much they wouldn’t change a thing!!!!!
In my opinion, these are the most beautiful houses you have toured! I love all the natural lighting of the second one and the land/location of the first.
I didnt even realize and I watched the entire video I had to go back then I could find it so I started searching the comments to see if someone might of put the time 😂😂😂😂 she didnt even notice what was going on behind her
About house number 1: these stairs are not a problem, we have the same kind and two kids. You should just check that the kids cannot slide trough the gap. If the gap is too wide you can put another piece of wood unter each step to narrow it. And: was there a window in the first bedroom upstairs? Really loved the architecture of the second house. So unique! And so much potential. With all the windows… and NO Kim, do not put curtains up there it would ruin the whole feeling! No one can peek inside so why curtains? And the main bathroom…you could add an outdoorshower 😍
I'm 27 living in CA got my first house last month paid in cash! I feel so happy for myself and my achievements watching this random video. So glad I made good decisions about my finances that changed me forever 💗

That house on minute 18 reminds me so much of a bunch of colonial type spanish houses where i’m from, specially the floor, i LOVE that flooring and how spanish colonial in the americas brought the outside inside. My grandma’s house had an indoor garden kind of like that house that was just like a “room” of the house, and then some more outside.
You've always reminded me of someone with your energy, enthusiasm and humor. Never could put my finger on it. Then my daughter was watching Fuller House the other day.....and I'm like KIMMY GIBBLER!!! Lol
Fun looking at the homes! I really liked some things in each home, but I didn’t see one home I thought I loved 😩 as you said remember what things you like in each home and then put it all together!
Watching your channel is such a high point in my day, you and your family always puts a smile on my face and now, my family are also fans of yours, my kids love watching you cook!! You really do put a little happy in our days!!!
Just for me, I felt most attracted to the house with the staircase with the gate at the top, not sure if it was house four or five! Oh, and I have that SAME vintage Pyrex colorful bowl collection from house two, they are awesome! I'd be tasting the water at each home too, only as here in the desert (Palm Springs, 123 degrees lol) water tastes differently depending on where you go. LOVED the video and thanks for taking us along!
Love the houses. I wouldn't even know which one of the houses to pick. They're all great. Love all the videos. Oh ya Alex thanks for your little dance. And your wonderful goofiness. We're redoing our kitchen here. My island is gonna be 5 or 6 ft long 4 foot depth. Withe lots of bar seating. No sink or stove on the island. Love an open island to be able to make pizzas, cookies, and plenty of room for extra help in the area. Have a great summer.
Like the lakefront home that has a pool and you can replace the things Alex feels need replacing and I too like the vibe but you have to feel it all inside you so I’m just thrilled watching n waiting for a vlog announcing you found your dream 🏠!!! Love love love ya and am here for you👍🤗❤️🙏
I love house hunting and I would have all of them, but I have one problem when we’re house hunting together, I get motion sickness, so I have to watch a bit at a time, frustrating, but I still love them and you!!xx
I love House #2! I’m into quirky, unique homes. My house here in San Francisco is an old Victorian, and it’s got some QUIRKS. A lot of these perfect flipped houses just feel lifeless and stifling to me.
Sorry for the length of my comment… I just kept typing as I watched. Haha 9:16 is an “appliance garage” for your toaster/can opener (if you use an electric one, we dont)/blender/immersion blender etc. (and I guess you could store bread too). I have a bread box next to ours. We have an appliance garage close to our sink. Our home was built in 1988, I had turned 11 months prior when my parents had it built. Halloween 1988, it wasn’t completely finished when we moved in. We all slept in the living room in sleeping bags, no carpet or electricity yet at that point. We had a cord from our neighbors. A great memory that I mention to my family every Halloween. I don’t want to renovate our kitchen, all of it holds a special place in my heart. And the cost to update it…Yowza! I will hold out until the countertops start disintegrating, they will eventually. I am fine with the pine wood cabinets and light blue countertops. I think they are pretty, they have character. I don’t need marble/granite countertops to be “in”. I love my “retro” kitchen. I would like to take down the wallpaper and bring back the original pale blue painted walls on the kitchen. At least our kitchen is no longer carpeted as it was originally in 1988!! 😂 My dad had wood flooring put in downstairs before his passing, thank goodness. Our master bedroom is downstairs in this house and the others upstairs. Separate hvac and water heaters. Their plan was to shut down the upstairs when my sister and I grew up. We both did move out at one point then both moved back eventually. Life… I did see an area of the soffit of that house that needed replacement. I didnt go back to get the time of the clip. I am having to get replacement of soffits/trim due to wood rot and weathering… Just another maintenance issue that just comes with home ownership… All I could think with house #2 was the cost to replace all of those patio doors…We had to replace 2 large patio doors off our kitchen to a small patio a few years ago. My chest hurt when my husband told me how much they were going to cost then adding labor. Something else to think about. Keep an eye out for how old the doors are & if they are original depending on how old the home is. They are pricey to replace, even a standard replacement without bells and whistles. I do love our new doors. I am often cleaning the tracks to assure they don’t build up with debris and become harder to open/close decreasing the life of the door and telling my 20 yr old son to be ginger with the door. LOVE the large laundry room!! 27:02 Yep, the patio doors are older. Keep that in mind Kim. My dad was a home designer for 30+ years. He passed in 2012 to aml leukemia. He left behind so many beautiful homes, ours is one of them. What a legacy to leave behind…This home means so much to me. It’s 2000 sq ft. It’s not huge but it means so much to my heart. I feel my dad and my late sister around me everyday. I find comfort in that. He designed 13 others on our street. Countless in Virginia and on the east coast. We have 100s (maybe 1000s) of home plans, paper and on disks in the room over garage. Wanna come over and look at some home plans? Lol. The thing is city building codes have most likely changed since many of them were drawn. I’m sure an architect/another designer could update them. I cannot get rid of them. I just can’t part with them. So, they stay in the room over garage until we decide what to do with all his work. All of those hours of work he did, hand drawing and on his computer. I can’t even begin to think of the hours he must have spent working up on that office upstairs. Countless hours to keep our family going. I don’t know how he did it. He surely taught me about work ethic and working hard for my salary. And doing something I loved, not only for a paycheck but something that brought me joy. That was being nurse for me. Really missing him this Father’s Day weekend… Missing them both so much. I know my dad and sister are together, I want to hug and talk to them again so badly. Grief, it’s not easy… Even years later. Hang in there. You will eventually find your forever home. You have each other, at the end of the day that’s what’s most important, right? I know you will agree. Thank you for reading this whomever did. 😊
You touched my heart. Thanks for sharing your feelings. Sometimes it just takes that to feel slightly better. My mom passed away when I was 6-years-old. I don’t have a lot of memories of her, but I sure do cherish the ones I have. I pray that God will give you peace and comfort and will heal your heart. Blessings from CA. 😘
I’m so intrigued by Floridians and their stories of gators. Do you have to be cautious swimming in any natural body of water? Can you insta your stories sometime. As a northern girl this is so cool to me!
So many houses loved them. That house with the brick floors, something about it made me love it but I wouldn’t think I would, I don’t know weird. And Alex in the background showing off, haha, he is the best!!!
Omg. I literally couldn't believe when I saw the bobcat. We have one in our neighborhood. I heard it last night when I took my pup out at bedtime. They make the scariest noise. It's like someone being murdered. Sends shivers up my spine!
Ok party people 🥳🥳🥳. I would need a full time maid. 5 bedrooms, 6,0000 bathrooms I would put my foot down. I like only one...white kitchen, quartz top that Kim didn’t care for. All those homes need the carpet replaced....we figured one would run $20:000 to replace both floors. The white kitchen house floors look new and I love them as easy care. Good luck Kimmy....I want you to find what will be good for your family! It maybe close?? 🦩🦩
The bathroom in the first house made me think of the Flinstones. Cant you just see that shower in Fred & Wilma’s house!? 😂 I actually love the house! So much character and so many hidden gems! ❤️
Wow that first house the property even the house is really special. Even when you find your dream house you will always want to personalize and make it feel like your home.
The country style home you should just make that big game space the master bedroom for now!! I like it but the water does scare me a bit…nice kitchen tho!! Tfs 👍💕😎🇺🇸🇵🇷
I died when I saw house 2.. wow that’s crazy different!! I understand why you loved it. But house 3 with the pool and beautiful yard. Love it! The bones are great!! The space. Wow Wow Wow. Jaw drop. I did not even mind the “datedness” I like mirrors too. Living here I would feel like a Golden Girl and I am cool with that. Love! 🌴👌🏼👩🏻🦳👵🏻 I love house 4 too nice. Oooh the realtor house. Love! Especially the bright and floors. Similar to my home lol. Love em all!! 💕 I am so tired of vacuuming I’m so happy not to anymore!!!
Kim you are so nuts! I’m crafting and half watching and I look up and see this house “the outdoor/indoor house” with the wall paper and I just died! You really are the best. I will rewatch when finished with the never ending project and really watch this video just so I can laugh all over again
Loved the first house. The land of the second was wonderful, but WOW on the house. I would spend the rest of my life remodeling that one. I must say that I literally crack up every time you say "BREADBOX" ....those are not bread boxes...those are appliance garages. LOL That 3rd house has so much potential and is HUGE. The laundry room alone was amazing. Not my style but it seems to have a lot of what you are looking for. The 4th house was stunning. That pool was the BEST ever. BUT...that last house was my absolute favorite. Stunning stunning stunning
The last 2 houses 😍😍😍😍😍 love love love the last one expectually.....there's a few things at the other housing that's a no no/definitely change or questionable 50/50
WOW that last house was AMAZING❣My style all the way😍 I hope you find your dream home soon! I'm loving these house hunting videos thanks for taking us on this journey with you 😊
All I suggest is go with less maintenance as you can and acreage like 13 acres is a big commitment...your always out there..it never ends.keep looking..🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼👍👌💖💞
Loved how Alex was trying to be sneaky behind you when you were introducing the 2nd house. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I find it so interesting to see what you look for in a house and what the differences are between North American and European homes.

Me too! ❤

In my opinion, these are the most beautiful houses you have toured! I love all the natural lighting of the second one and the land/location of the first.
Oh Kim, that second house was a nightmare, way to many updates needed. 4th house was the best.
You are a vintage girl after my own heart! I love vintage!!! 💞
Having a non updated (except electrical and structural) 70s/80s house is a dream
Not in Florida. You need the building standards for hurricanes that started after the 90s. And mold, mildew, water damage are intense down here.
Houses have so much character! Love them!
Fabulous! I lost track of the houses but love things about each. The wallpaper house had my Grandma's settee. What nostalgia. Wow!
I like the last house you toured. It is so neatness and beautiful. and the best view!! LOL!! :)
Alex taking his shirt off and dancing in the back ground of you talking about house 2! 🤣🤣🤣 I’m ☠️
I came into the comments to say this same thing! 🤣😂 He's hilarious!

It does.. I was trying to think of what it reminded me of. 😳

In the last house eat in kitchen - if you did a built-in bench under that window, you could get a lot more seating
That second house is incredible (aside from the kitchen). It reminds me of the house I grew up in Coral Gables. That floor. 🥰
Love #4! I'd try to get brand new OR 10+ yrs old. New = less issues/repairs for at least 10 yrs. After 10, everything has been replaced:)

I’m so intrigued by Floridians and their stories of gators. Do you have to be cautious swimming in any natural body of water? Can you insta your stories sometime. As a northern girl this is so cool to me!
I loves the last 🏠 house may God bless you all.
Omg I never comment on anyone’s videos but I have to comment on this one. Your hubby was hilarious!!!! Sorry but this one takes the cake. Loved it 🤣😂
Nasty 🤮
So many houses loved them. That house with the brick floors, something about it made me love it but I wouldn’t think I would, I don’t know weird. And Alex in the background showing off, haha, he is the best!!!
💜 watching your videos even after you found your house 🏡
Loving these types of videos! I enjoy coming along for the ride and checking out all of the different types of homes out there for sale!
Omg. I literally couldn't believe when I saw the bobcat. We have one in our neighborhood. I heard it last night when I took my pup out at bedtime. They make the scariest noise. It's like someone being murdered. Sends shivers up my spine!
LOL kim !! second house comment ! I just want to live with the people who live here!! Dying and isnt it true that house was something else!!! WOWza
I loved the house with the walk in pool so much 😍
Ok party people 🥳🥳🥳. 🦩🦩
The house you put an offer on and haven’t heard back on is my favorite so far! So cool!
Oh I thought the second house house was so disconnected and too many possibilities for window issues and high energy bills.
the last house is the prettiest one.
Loved the last house very beautiful 🥰
House hunting fun in the sun y’all 😊enjoy 🎉
Loved the first house. The land of the second was wonderful, but WOW on the house. I would spend the rest of my life remodeling that one.
I must say that I literally crack up every time you say "BREADBOX" ....those are not bread boxes...those are appliance garages. LOL
That 3rd house has so much potential and is HUGE. The laundry room alone was amazing. Not my style but it seems to have a lot of what you are looking for.
The 4th house was stunning. That pool was the BEST ever.
BUT...that last house was my absolute favorite. Stunning stunning stunning
Your husband is so funny in the background. I was dying laughing!
House tours!!!!! Yay!!
The last two homes were great! The views, and land were nice too.
The last 2 houses 😍😍😍😍😍 love love love the last one expectually.....there's a few things at the other housing that's a no no/definitely change or questionable 50/50
I definitely see Kim and family in an 80 type home but updated with land and water. Hopefully you will find your dream home and soon.

I liked the brick floored house the best 💕💯🙌 good luck on your continued search! I'm loving these videos! 🤗
I love the last house 😍
