I'm half German, and have been to Germany multiple times since I was a baby. I always think of the forests and going mushroom hunting with my family. Beautiful video. Thank you for sharing!
No logging , no huge crowds of noisy people...a true peace and quiet....magical place! IF I was in a place like that I would tip toe and talk and whisper....beautiful....
Wow what a great piece of cinematography! I live near a Beech Forest in Bavaria and the feelings and impressions are well displayed in the video. I try to go there as often as possible to explore the forest via Bike. Im very grateful for this wonder of nature.
I grew up in these forests so they seem so normal and everyday to me. But when you see the forests through this video you realise how beautifull they are.
Well... i wish that would be true. Fact is: There are 76% less insects than just several years ago, hundreds of species are disappearing and going extinct in Germany. The situation in the forests is a bit better, but we are far away from a healthy ecosystem.
Kai Schablewski I read that in 10 years , Germany has increased forest areas by 3 percent through planting trees... Recycling of wastes reaches 70 or 80 percent ...
Kai Schablewski Yes the Germans are good. So sad that at one time they fell for Hitler. They have paid the price. And they know. Now they are so anti war. Its the opposite now. Its a hippie culture.
What an epic masterpiece of a video that is good sir 🙏🙏 Even though im from Dortmund, Ruhrpott area in Germany i truly love southern Germany especially Bavaria and Baden Württemberg ❤🇩🇪
Germany has long lost its truly wild forests so is much of Western Europe the only truely undisturbed forests in Europe are restricted to a few patches in Romania and European Russia.
+Wael Faraj Yes, that is true. None the less, those forests aren't truly wild. Mankind has shaped them for generations and experts can still tell. The last few remaining patches of truly untouched forests in Germany have to be in the mountains, most likely the Alps and Harz. These ranges contain the last few remaining unincorporated areas in this country so I'm sure there hard to reach and do forestry in.

" European wilderness" ? 😂😂 Surely you jest. I live in the black forest of Germany and can assure you there is no such thing as wilderness in lower Europe. If you go for a hike in germany, france , austria , etc , you will run into a village the moment you THINK you are in the wilderness.
Hi Sirios Star, our understanding of wilderness is a largely untouched natural landscape. This is given by the "beech forests". That's why we can speak of "European Wilderness"
Fair enough. I think i need to adjust my meaning of the word "Wilderness " since i'm now living in Germany. I'm use to vast open spaces where you rarely ever see another person for days. I wil come to your park and have a look . Thanks.
Sirios Star that’s true! I lived in Freiburg for almost two years and have always gon hiking in the black forest only for my journey to be disturbed by villages, remains of human intervention like stacks of tree trunks, cable cars, hunting cabins, sometimes waste & plastic and even tombstones let alone all the giant crosses & windmills. There truly isn’t much wilderness in the Black Forest as there is man made parks & mountain biking trails. I could never hike for more than 30 minutes before I end up trying to cross a highway. It’s sad...
Sadly those woods will be down in about 50 years. Beeches in that size evaporate bout 300 - 600 liters of water each day. Hot and long periods without rain the last years are just the beginning i think. We always had hot and nice summers but there were regularly enough rainy days...
That make me sad There is no real wildlife Our woodland are dead There just some wolve deer foxes badger and marten where are the Bears where are the mooses where are otters crows vulture and beavers Where are the lynx and Big pack of wolves, the herd of bison auroch and horse We forget the golden jackal, water buffalo, the lion and leopard That once lived here And Racoon are invasives specie
Great advice, especially true for the South. If you're a tourist, look for the Autan brand products in yellow/red packaging. All pharmacies and a lot of stores in Germany carry this brand. If you're familiar with _Off!_ repellant by S.C. Johnson, it's literally the same stuff.

Camera moves in magical ways. The commentator's voice is adorable. Music is mesmerizing! Thank God for everything.

Very beautiful & nice place..
I grew up in these forests so they seem so normal and everyday to me. But when you see the forests through this video you realise how beautifull they are.
now imagine if you were to grow up in a deforested area and dream about old forest with streams running in it...
Beautiful!
Super buen video. Felicitaciones.
Nicely presented.
what spectacular and beautiful just wonderful; It gives joy to know that the Germans take care of their country their forests and the ecosystem

Germany has long lost its truly wild forests so is much of Western Europe the only truely undisturbed forests in Europe are restricted to a few patches in Romania and European Russia.
I Read that Germany is replanting trees in many areas and increasing the areas of the forests there...

Wael Faraj

@SA - 12GZ 751106 John Fraser SS Pretty sure you don't grasp the concept of "literally".
There shouldn’t be raccoons there, though. They’re not native to. Germany.
They are free for hunt all over the year with no limitation.
They were intruduced by Americans during the Occupation after WW2 and can be found everywhere in Germany now
I love nature only nature 🙂

Fun fact: Europe's largest ancient beech forest is the Wienerwald... located in Austria.
Austria is germany.
Thiodweley
Yes and Austria has big forest area. In area. Also Russia.
and they destroy all the beautiful forest in my beautiful country Romania shame on the Austrian government
Where is it in germany?
Why is the English so slowly spoken ..??
Very little understory and few fallen trees and branches that would indicate a healthy forest.
Beautiful white people also have beautiful forests.
That make me sad
There is no real wildlife
Our woodland are dead
There just some wolve deer foxes badger and marten
where are the Bears where are the mooses where are otters crows vulture and beavers

Use tick repellant, folks...I heard Germany has alot of Lyme disease.

also don't wear white clothes, they attract the ticks
The wood's most dificult obstacles sure are the mosquitos
beech only spread after we killed off the mammals which maintained the oak forests beech supports few wildlife
i wish i could go there before I die
I adore forest but there is no forest here ..israel take it😥

What the fuck is a raccoon doing in a German forest?
Nice vid but it would have been better with scientific/factual narration. Not sure why it had to be so 'inspirational'
peutfull clip
I like too much woodland country

The world would better without us creatures.
Starting at 10:56 the tree looks like a deer.
