I have some vintage casserole dishes in the greenware that I've never used. If you're interested contact me. I do live in Ontario, Canada. If you like them, just pay for the shipping and I'll get them shipped to you. They are worth some money. But you have given me a lot of pleasure with your content and I would be honored to them give it to you.
@@gracestrumpfer1254 it's called Fire King Meadows. The casserole dishes are milk coloured, like CorningWare. Unfortunately I can't include any pictures here. I hope this helps.
You light up my days with your never-ending happiness for life. I work with addicts full time and crisis counseling. Somedays I am completely worn out. Your videos are one way I self care. Thank you Macenna, Ive said it before but the world is a better place with you in it.
Before you add a ( Kick Plate ) to your door. Add a good Sealer to the door. I have a gorgeous solid door that faces North, so it doesn’t get any sun. I added a kick plate and after 1 year I noticed it started to damage the door. So I put 2 coats of sealer in clear low sheen & it made a huge difference. It’s been 3 years and holding up very well. I am going to do a light sanding and add a new coat of sealer this summer.
Be careful using china cups in glass kitchen containers as the slightest bump can put china shards through the flour or whatever baking products your using. Love love love your videos. 😍😍😍
my jaw dropped when you said you don’t like stained glass 😭 those lamps were gorgeous& such a dream find for me. you have the best estate sales near you!! i looooove the door knocker and the lil post office!
I can’t 😂🤣 Kinsley rushing in, Superman jumping behind you and the blanket poof from her landing right as you start your introduction. I am crying from laughter! Business/parenting skills to continue talking without skipping a beat. You are definitely Kinsey’s favorite person. Hahaha! ❤️
I remember when you hated those blue tiles in your bathroom. Them after you changed the look on the cabinets, they grew on you. I’ve noticed that now when you are at sales, you gravitate towards the blue and white. I really like that green China set, I have never seen that pattern.
Macenna, I'n in absolute awe of your energy levels, when I was as far along as you are in my pregnancy I was in so much pain and discomfort and soooooo tired. I'm so happy for you that you get to enjoy your pregnancy to the fullest and I hope it continues that way all the way to the end
That’s it I forgot the name I had that whole set in the uk in they eighties My friend collected eternal bue I think it was called I actually have no idea what happened to it
Yeah. Even though it wasn't a perfect fit for him, he could have resold it. I know he resells cool hoodies and sweatshirts. Maybe the price was too high for something that was not a perfect fit.
You are blooming Macenna!!! I can’t believe baby boy will be here so soon, definitely slow down as your hands will soon be full of the most precious thing you will ever hold. Love from the uk. X
I love your estate sale hauls. Thank you for sharing. Maybe Romeo can share his hauls as well in future videos. He always finds great vintage clothing.
Those made in England teacups were such a popular set in like the 90s. I think it came from somewhere like Argos or something, that and a ribbon set with like hexagonal plates etc that everyone seemed to have. It’s so funny seeing these things enjoyed in other countries.
I have an almost complete set of the dishes you bought the two floral tea cups for. They are Johnson Brothers Summer Chintz and I started collecting it in high school in preparation for setting up my first apartment in college. I’m not usually a pink or floral person, but I just fell in love with them. I even have platters, coffee and tea pot, and my favorite piece, a large soup tureen.
McKenna, I have tea cups in my glass cannisters, but they aren't measuring cups. I just use them more like a scoop to dig it out and put in my measuring cups. Bought orphaned tea cups over time usually from Facebook Marketplace
Looove the door knocker! It's magnificent. Thank you for being such a light in all our lives. You find joy in the sweetest details of everything. It is contagious.
We did tea cups and tea pots for our wedding center pieces, and I actually have a couple of those white with pink and flowers ones that twist up that you got from the first estare sale! It's so cool to see them somewhere else.
WOW…wish I was there…tile…stained glass lamps…matching chandeliers…awesome Laker’s jacket (even for re-sale?)…oh my…all the things I would not have passed on!!! You are so decerning!!! Can’t wait for the kitchen reveal…& expected baby boy…patience patience…have you delivered already & is Grandma there yet???❤🎉❤🎉❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I love blue and white!! So classic and never going out of style. So excited for baby boy! Make sure you have plenty of burp cloths. Seemed like I was washing those constantly and needed more. 💕
BOLO (be on the look out) for Transferware - it comes in several different colors and patterns - I think you would love the brown in particular. Also, look for 'flow blue' dishware - save any vintage Bauer pieces for me! Thinking of you and Romeo as your delivery draws near - peace, love, healthy baby and safe delivery!
since you mentioned before you might be getting into baking, and you dont want to use that roller for baking but might in desperation consider doing so, i suggest having wax paper around! When i dont want to have to clean my rollingpin, i will place a wide sheet of wax paper over my rough ball, and use the rolling pin over that so that no flour or dough gets on the roller itself. of course, making sure your hands are clean before touching it since baking can get flour everywhere lol. just a tip!! you might end up just getting a rolling pin you prefer for your baking instead but just wanted to give the tip incase it ever comes up!
Always nice to see Aynsley and Royal Tara china even when you pass right by it. I only recognize those patterns from spending summers with relatives in Ireland and England
That brass door knocker is gorgeous and very art Nouveau. I think it’s probably my favorite thing she’s ever found in the wild. ❤ I loved that tile as well.
Regarding the village … I had all department 56 (the original) ones, and they made several different villages for different time periods … so the types of buildings were different, and I’m guessing other brands did the same. The building lights come on strands of 5 or 6 connected … get those!!
MaCenna, they make long cords with multiple light bulb outlets for the Christmas village. That way you don't have ten million cords running all through your scene to camouflage.
Love the Stained Glass Lamps. I have 4 of them. They were my Grandmother’s so they are extra special. ❤ I JUST CANT WAIT FOR YOUR BABY TO ARRIVE. IM SO EXCITED FOR YOU & ROMEO 😄
Such fun finds! I would be weary using the ceramic as scoops for dried goods because they’ll chip and get into your food. Could be dangerous plus vintage pieces always have lead in them. Just a thought! It seems like literally everything will kill us these days lol so don’t let that stop you.
I was so bummed when I thought u were leaving the Post Office behind, it's so cute and the windows reminded me of the ones you already had!! So glad you guys decided to get it.😊🖤
Oh my goodness! I want the Nativity sets you passed over!!!! And that is my china as soon as you walked in the second house! And my crystal at the third house!
I'm 52, and I have never decorated in blue . Although I saw a blue bedspread. I had to get it. I love it so much ❤ Blue Roses and white . Have a beautiful day.
I recently found a set of beautiful china at a thrift store and was so excited to get it home and use it. I did research on the set to find more pieces from the collection and discovered that the dishes contain lead and cadmium, so unfortunately they aren't very safe to use, even if not chipped or cracked 😢 Be careful with old china, especially delicate cups in those jars. They could easily get little chips and leach toxic material into your foods. Fortunately, I've started finding modern-made vintage style china that gives the look without the risks. Better safe than sorry!
Because you showed the tea cup in the glass canister I removed the plastic scoops from mine and replaced them with tea cups..I love the look. Thank you so much for showing this idea.❤
Thank you so much for sharing these estate sales! I’m always pointing at things and yelling at my tv screen 🤣😂 Love your channel MaCenna!!🥰❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The little ramekins were cute! But most of all, those tiles 🔥😍 They were gorgeous and unique. I just didn’t think you would pass on them, even if they were for someone else’s house.
MaCenna I saw someone use just the glass portion of the stained glass lamp turn it upside down and made a hanging flower basket out of them absolutely beautiful for a balcony... It's kind of the vibe of your home
Ever since I left the States I live out my thrifting dreams vicariously through you, Macenna! There is no place like the US that satisfies my treasure hunt cravings. On that note, I did mange to pick up this exact same lamp 7:17 for free at a moving sale in Berlin. 😃
You got some great pieces! The house with the wall papered room was beautiful! I think Romeo racked up too! Excited for your next video as always, and hopefully a kitchen sneak peek update!😊
MaCenna & Romeo, I’m sending you love from NYC. 38 weeks & 1 day!! Hoping for a quick & easy delivery. Rest up & we will miss your videos but know that when you get back to us, it will be worth the wait. You both will be amazing parents. Blessings to all your family members & May baby boy bless us all as he grows up. ❤❤❤
Interesting vlog as always Mc kenna. The drinking glaswear was beautiful and the fun 📬.Yoor cheering me up as i now recover from a stroke.and waiting to here about you lovely son being born.zSuch a loving romeo to get you a fold away chair to have with you .your a pair of lovey doves 😊
Hi there! Love your inspiration to use tea cups as measuring cups but please test them for lead before using! Lots of china and older dish ware are known to contain it. Just a word of advice, especially with your sweet babe! So excited for you!

The suspense of the cabinets is killing me !
Kinsley running & jumping into your chair in the intro! I had to keep rewatching, absolute star of the show every time! Love her!
....and Romeo brought you a chair...so precious.😍
Macenna cracks me up with her thrift shopping. She is like a general strategically planning an invasion.😊

The wallpaper in the second house, with the table lamp and rattan shade! I love it. Cool house. Thank you for taking us along. xx
Be careful using china cups in glass kitchen containers as the slightest bump can put china shards through the flour or whatever baking products your using. Love love love your videos. 😍😍😍
That is very true! I had not thought of that. Gotta be safe.
I was screaming 😱 "Buy the tile!!!! Please buy the tile!!!" They looked so unique & handmade.
Me too ...I also wished she had got the rattan lamp - they were the only two things i liked...
My mouth actually dropped open when she found the tile…they were so special!
Me 3… When I saw them I automatically was in love with them,so beautiful and unique.
I thought they were gorgeous and unique, too.
You are always so careful and respectful when handling other’s things before you buy 🥰
True, I stopped watching a thrifting channel because it seemed as if the breakables were being roughly handled. The sound was so loud.
The black front door with the brass door knocker and the brass kick plate will be magnificent!
It’s nerber from here on out!
my jaw dropped when you said you don’t like stained glass 😭 those lamps were gorgeous& such a dream find for me. you have the best estate sales near you!! i looooove the door knocker and the lil post office!
In UK we call them Tiffany Lamps, you see quite a few here.
While I think stained glass is pretty and appreciate the craftsmanship I'm not into it at all.
Everybody has their own taste.
It’s funny because I’m looking for a Tiffany lamp so when I saw it I gasped.
I'd have got them anyway. She'd have probably been able to sell them on.
@@nixi7688 I love those lamps as well. I have a few. I wasn't able to see the price on those lamps. Did you see a price?

The dainty mugs with the pale florals are called summer chintz by Johnson Brothers - lots of those about in the UK 😊
That’s it I forgot the name I had that whole set in the uk in they eighties
My friend collected eternal bue I think it was called
I actually have no idea what happened to it
Remember the plates fir wall your neighbors in Texas gave you??? They were Blue!!!!!!!
Love how you and Romeo so loving and respectful of one another ❤️
It should never be any other way in a relationship or what is the point?
Romeo should have got the jacket. It looked good on him.
I was surprised he passed on it. It seemed like he really loved it.
Yeah. Even though it wasn't a perfect fit for him, he could have resold it. I know he resells cool hoodies and sweatshirts. Maybe the price was too high for something that was not a perfect fit.

It's so pretty! I do hope she doesn't shine it up too much...

The large piece is a Soufflé Baking dish&/or Baked Alaska bowl

The white and floral tea/coffee cups that you purchased are part of a high end china pattern. I can say this because my mother owns the complete set.
