SM uses these groups, red velvet too, to experiment to then use what they learn with SNSD, you can see it clearly how fx and rv are very alternative and experimental, some of their songs are completely oddbals in comparison to the whole of the kpop world, then comes SNSD and does whats tried and true after the smaller groups braved new ground
me and my unpopular opinion. most of fx songs are good but not great. this one has a really nice concept and the red light (chorus) part is really catchy, but after that the song gets boring. this song doesnt grow in u as well, after listening to this song a lot of times, i thought i'd like it but still i dont cuz yeah its boring. dont hate me im just sharing my opinion as to why this song is not that big.
f(x) had the potential to be big since RPPP but SM didn’t give them a new comeback quick enough so they lost hype, but I will always ult f(x) and I hope they can come back some day
Man they deserved so much more. Especially Sulli. I hated those fans that would preach how much they love F(x) but in the same breath would completely trash and degrade Sulli. Seriously SM over worked her on top of fans attacking her. could blame her for saying "hey I need a mental break" I'm just glad she took a break the second she knew something didn't feel right instead of staying and her problem getting worse. Maria Geofrey actually her ENTIRE career she was bullied by fans on top being over worked. She didn't leave because of love. It's more so fans attacked her so hard on top of constantly filming for her solo activities she started to get sick. She even said it started to effect her mental health. When she decided to leave and fans saw her hanging out with him that's when they made up rumours that she left the group for him. But that wasn't the case. She said and SM said that she was sick mentally and physically and even though she was sick SM still made her work.
Maria Geofrey there were TWO announcements regarding Sulli. The first on was when she was supposed to still be apart of the group but was just on a hiatus due to her health declining and because she felt like she needed an actual break. Sulli being over work showed on her face and even when she tried to hide it fans would still attack and say she's lazy, that she should just quit, that she's worthless etc etc. The second announcement when Sulli finally decided to no longer continue as an idol and just strictly focus on acting that's when it was confirmed months later that she was in a relationship. Her departure wasn't all at once. It was basically two parts.

This era of f(x) is the best. The song, outfits, makeup in 2014 is still trend and pretty in 2019. f(x) outfits has always being ahead of others just like the tennis skirt in Rum Pum Pum Pum. They don't invent the style, but they make it big and trend for every K-pop group.

First ever girl group that i invest my time searching. Known them since Hot Summer and was surprisingly confused differentiating Krystal, Sulli and Victoria (they all have long brunette during that era). Thanks for the memories Vic, Am, Luna, Sul and Krys. Wish SM treated you better like Red Velvet.
