Hi Shane, it's really very good explanation of MTO scenario, I am working on one of the implementation project for same situation, but am facing multiple issues like listed below, 1. Availability Check is not working, it is considering the same date of delivery without considering lead-times and capacity, Please help me on how to sort-out the issue. 2.Account assignment of sales order in purchase order is not possible?
Hi there. If you are using S/4HANA Private Cloud you can do the ATP check using Advanced ATP (requires a license). In aATP there is an option for SBC (Supply Based Confirmation). This uses PP/DS (also requires a licenses) to to the MTO lead-time and capacity check. The basic ATP should be able to check the planned availability date against the planned order only. If you set-up the material master of the purchase item to 'B6' and the the MTO material to B6 also, MRP should generate a PO with SO reference.

Depending on the demo user you are using (or your own user) you will need to add the apps business role and then configure the apps data set.
