18:30 Joachim picks the top non-Disloyal card so you never need to worry about him boosting Roderick. I was just recently thinking about playing this deck, love that you made one! I do wanna ask, is Ard Feainn really worth the 11 provisions? It seems a little underwhelming on paper.
Yes, you're right I always forget about that. As for Ard Feanin, it really is worth it. In addition to the consistency (and working really well with Joachim and Coup) the status effects it puts out normally add up to a lot of points over the course of the game. It doesn't read like it's worth a lot, but the extra points on Dames, Seditious Aristocrats, and Usurper really add up.
Frost is a good deck. I've found it best to let them have R1 and then try to survive a long R2 and pull out the Ard Feanin in that round to carry it to R3. The Veils and ability to do 4 damage pretty consistently is problematic though. If you see a lot of Frost it might be worth considering swapping something for Vincent, otherwise the Foglets are a big issue and he's pretty good in most games. That or add Vilgefortz. Relying on poisons for tall punish does have drawbacks.
@@platinumpatrol2964 if we still have the old lockdown, this type of deck works wonders with it. Too bad the old ability was just downright awful and not fun to play against 🤣
@@ikaerus_1941 A lot of the earliest Gwent videos I did were on Ciri: Nova (prior to GN) in lockdown and Hyperthin Lockdown. It was brutal for decks that needed their leader abilities but it did allow some decks to be viable that weren't otherwise. Probably not healthy for the game though.
Love you videos man but watching u playing this deck gave me anxiety not gonna lie bc of this deck and reavers I started playing raids just make them rage quit

Patrol joining the dark side with that one
Unmatched thumbnail work
Thanks, I wanted to update the template I made. I think it came out really nice.
@@platinumpatrol2964 Definitely does, love it man
@@platinumpatrol2964 Seconded, stands out very well in my feed!
love your vids man, made me come back to gwent after being out of it for a year. hope you keep it up!
After you did this 36:36 he was like: Oh fuck, this guy knows stuff
Great list and gameplay! Only thing is you missed 1 point at 31:51 by clicking usurper before impostering botchling. Didn’t matter in the end tho!
Damn patrol didn't know you had it in you lol
former video was pure removal. Who hurt you man.
But enjoyed as always
Awesome
I have a similar deck that includes Tibor. And it goes really well. Especially with thirsty dames
Tibor is a cool addition. I always like seeing him outside of the Practicioner Spam decks.
@@platinumpatrol2964 i also use him after playing Cynthia 😅

Please help. I'm at 2471 fMMR, and I lose to Frost every time. Do you have any advice?

@platinumpatrol2964 Thank you very much for your insight. Good luck on ladder! Your content has always been top tier
Could you please try out Assimilate it used to be so much fun
I'm guessing Patrol has been losing his ladder matches and decided to play NG 😅 either way, I'm liking it
Lol good theory but no I'm just going through the request list and this was an easier deck to make compared to some of the others

Just fyi: Strategems don't effect flanking
Yes, they don't count as cards at all. I periodically forget about that change.

Raids do shut them down pretty hard (and everything else engine based)

This one is mediocre compere to other versions.try it with Catriona that ship gave a whole new meaning to poison decks
Catriona is too slow and too much of a win-more card for it to be good in my opinion. She's a fun card, but far from optimal.
