I passed my private pilot checkride yesterday morning. The best advice you gave me was to “let the DPE do the talking”. That’s the best advice I could give to anyone. I felt underprepared personally but despite my self criticism I passed! The DPE even went as far to mention that it was one of his easiest check rides in a long time.

Passed my instrument a few days ago, straight in to preparing for commercial now. I couldn't agree more with getting lessons from other instructors! Always a different perspective or emphasis to be had.

My roommate and I have been watching your videos since starting our flight training last year. As of a week ago we both achieved our dreams of becoming private pilots (on the same day to top it off). Your tips and tricks (especially the safer pilot challenge series) really helped us not only prepare for the checkride, but also helped us squash some bad habits before they became routine.
Every tip presented in this video is crucial. Especially flying with another instructor prior to the checkride. That is a must, since each instructor have their own training intricacies which could spot problem areas prior to the checkride going forward.

I used your online ground school back in 2018 when I took my PPL check ride. It's such a valuable resource, and helped me tremendously! I can't thank you enough, you explained everything in a way that was easy to retain. Even today, I remember a ton of what I learned almost 4 years ago.
Edit: on check ride day, I actually had to fly down to Nashville from Kentucky in the 150 I was renting. That early morning flight loosened me up and got me focused prior to even walking into the FBO. I remember everything about that day, and I promise you future private pilot's will too!

Wow! I loved Holly Bott's Instr and Comm information. Identifying the winds with the sticky and shrinking the wind card was an excellent idea. Thanks for putting them on.

I've recently had a huge setback in flight training. I even heard that I'd be a great pilot just not any time soon. I'm starting with a new school and hopefully it'll all work out because training is enjoyable but also really expensive. Your landing video helped make mine smoother and also simply holding the yoke for longer

All the tips are correct. I over prepared for the oral. Didn’t feel like it as the checkride approached but when the oral was over I felt like I wasn’t asked anything. On the flying side. Take your time. Rushing will cause mistakes. I listened to Pass your Private checkride dozens of times. Read the ASA private pilot checkride book dozens of times. I watched videos over and over. Over prepare and you will have a stress free checkride

three hours into my PPL journey... I guess this is me immersing myself... never to early to start planning and understanding how all the dots will connect at the check ride

Alright, where's that card that Holly Bott commented. I was able to recreate most of it but some of the image was blurred so bad I couldn't run it slow or stop in any place to get the clear image.
