I was prepared to be disappointed. Although I love Donghun and the VROMANCE guy, this song is still very tough to cover and the CASSIE in me just won't accept that, but they blew my mind. This is the best cover I have seen.

reasons why i really love this performance: - this isn't an easy song to sing - they all have different vocal colors but - they managed to bring it all together and harmonize so well - their emotion throughout the song 👍 this is a group performance. yes there are some members (much) better than the others and maybe there are some vocal colors that doesn't suit your taste but the point is their team work to make this one of legendary stages covering a legend's song

As a TVXQ fan for 11 years I can definitely say that this is so far the best TVXQ Love In The Ice cover that I've heard. Though there are parts of the song where some of their harmonization is not perfectly executed, it's still a wonderful performance as a whole. This group has a lot of amazing vocals and I hope they'll be able to debut. Ps. To all Cassiopeia and Bigeast out there let's support TVXQ's Nissan Stadium concert this June! Love you fam ❤️
They did cover, but mixnine has own style. I know they can beat the original (they are legend too), but as fans, iam proud with them coz they aren't copy the original but they show their own colour

I SWEAR THIS IS MY FAVORITE VOCAL PERFORMANCE IN MIXNINE. I THINK IT'LL BE HARD TO TOP. IMAGINE ALL THOSE VOCALS. HEEJUN INSEONG HYUNSOO HYUNKYU DONGHUN GUNMIN CHANYUN AND CHANDONG. i found myself anticipating for hyunsoo's voice everytime and it gives me the chills. inseong's vocals never fail and heejun---- wow. i admit i was also looking for his solo parts but he mostly did back-up, but i mean--- his voice suited with donghun and inseong and chandong and just everyone. heejun is so talented i swear i love him. hyunkyu and donghun---- don't even start with me. they were wonderful. donghun delivered all his emotions (those sad eyes just got 10x sadder) and hyunkyu--- i respect and adore vromance so much. that hyunkyu and donghun high note duet at 3:28 was the most beautiful thing i've seen. it was so beautiful. they were beautiful and their voices were beautiful. i swear, if i were to be asked to marry a performance, it would be this. ((or my house team lmao lolololol kidding i is loyal [not] )) im also reminded of knk with this. knk is full of talented vocals 😫 youjin heejun jihun and inseong namely (let's leave the neighbourhood cat at rapping lololol. kidding his low voice is very very very charming too)

AzlinHanim same! lol. my ult bias is donghun, but i can't push away the fact that they all really did so well in this. i have been following knk since debut and have been listening to vromance's songs but never really had the chance to know them well. as for onf, i just heard of them when mixnine started. gunmin i have watched at p101 and hyunsoo---- i'm so glad he joined mixnine. i never heard of him, but only this episode and i'm so glad to have found a gem like him. yg was worried whether he would really fit the idol image, but who cares really, i love him, and i love his voice. it was very unique and calming. donghun--- he exceeded my expectations really. i was just ready only to support him and not cry!!!! but i'm crying rivers everytime i replay 😭😭😭
AzlinHanim and you know there's a strange thing that happens to me every single time i replay? i find myself having trouble breathing at especially at every "ha~ ha~ hAAAAaaaaAAA~" then after several replays, i realized i was instinctively matching my breath with theirs. i wasn't singing along, but my breath was instinctively blending with theirs, and at the end of every replay, i find myself panting and grasping for air. it was THAT powerful of a performance to affect me like that. i haven't experienced this ever in my life watching a performance.

This whole team is a full-packed talented vocalists... definitely best vocal performance for the boys group. Hyunkyu and chandong from vromance, which is vocal-focused group. Inseong and heejun from knk, vocal-focused group too. Lee donghun, main vocal at A.C.E.. Adding lee gunmin from rbw, outstanding vocals from the auditions, and ONF member lee changhyun, and a rough yet soothing voice kim hyunsoo ftw.. this team is a killer..
일단 이 곡이 기획사가 많지 않아 재능 있는 애들이 거의 모두 스엠에 몰려 있던 당시에, 그 안에서 탑클레스로만 이루어진 '에스엠이 야심차게 준비한 아카펠라 그룹' 동방신기의 가창력, 화음 등 모든 부분에서 아마 최대치를 발휘한 극악의 난이도를 자랑하는 노래라는 점을 생각하면 이 무대는 다른 어떤 오디션 프로의 보컬 미션 무대와도 비교가 불가능할 정도로 팀명 이름값 제대로 한 무대임.

IT'S ALREADY 2023 YET NOTHING CAN STILL EVER TOP THIS. Going back here once again made me feel the greatness of these team's performance again. The emotions are so heavy and the justice they gave to this song cannot be expressed in mere words. I will always sulk and hate yg-sajangnim for taking mixnine participants for granted. All other survival shows cannot even compete with mixnine even if mixnine wasn't well-received by the general public. MIXNINE remains number 1 in my heart. It was filled with aspiring idols who wants second chances and opportunities in their career but mixnine did not feel like charity like other shows. trainees and idols had to prove themselves rather than highlighting their past careers. I love Mixnine cause it was hella authentic and just built different than other shows. I'm still saddened by how it turned out for the final lineup even if years have passed already. But right now I just wanna appreciate Mixnine sm through this comment cause it was one of the best things that happened in my kpop journey. I forgot their team name but i'm always thankful for this team in putting up this cover of love in ice! I still follow some of them in their respective groups now. will always remember this heartfelt ballad stage so much love!

I think mixnine didn't give enough spotlight on how this team created the harmonies and worked to blend everything together. From the show you can see even at midpoint, the vocal instructor was already very impressed with their performance and hardly changed their song arrangement. Kudos to hyunkyu for leading this team, he's definitely very experienced in harmonies and vocal arrangements :) This will go down as one of the legendary performances from this kinda shows.

럽인아 노래 어려운 노래인데 잘했네요. 각자 보컬에 맞는 스타일로 음도 잘 조절한것 같아요. 너무 높은 고음은 다른 화음들과 어울리게 잘 내리고 화음들도 잘 쌓여있네요. 솔직히 카아로서 이 노래 되게 들으면 슬픈데 후배분들이 이렇게 잘 커버해주니까 좋네요

I SWEAR THIS IS MY FAVORITE VOCAL PERFORMANCE IN MIXNINE. I THINK IT'LL BE HARD TO TOP. IMAGINE ALL THOSE VOCALS. HEEJUN INSEONG HYUNSOO HYUNKYU DONGHUN GUNMIN CHANYUN AND CHANDONG.
i found myself anticipating for hyunsoo's voice everytime and it gives me the chills. inseong's vocals never fail and heejun---- wow. i admit i was also looking for his solo parts but he mostly did back-up, but i mean--- his voice suited with donghun and inseong and chandong and just everyone. heejun is so talented i swear i love him. hyunkyu and donghun---- don't even start with me. they were wonderful. donghun delivered all his emotions (those sad eyes just got 10x sadder) and hyunkyu--- i respect and adore vromance so much. that hyunkyu and donghun high note duet at 3:28 was the most beautiful thing i've seen. it was so beautiful. they were beautiful and their voices were beautiful.
i swear, if i were to be asked to marry a performance, it would be this. ((or my house team lmao lolololol kidding i is loyal [not] ))
im also reminded of knk with this. knk is full of talented vocals 😫 youjin heejun jihun and inseong namely (let's leave the neighbourhood cat at rapping lololol. kidding his low voice is very very very charming too)

AzlinHanim same! lol. my ult bias is donghun, but i can't push away the fact that they all really did so well in this. i have been following knk since debut and have been listening to vromance's songs but never really had the chance to know them well. as for onf, i just heard of them when mixnine started. gunmin i have watched at p101 and hyunsoo---- i'm so glad he joined mixnine. i never heard of him, but only this episode and i'm so glad to have found a gem like him. yg was worried whether he would really fit the idol image, but who cares really, i love him, and i love his voice. it was very unique and calming. donghun--- he exceeded my expectations really. i was just ready only to support him and not cry!!!! but i'm crying rivers everytime i replay 😭😭😭
AzlinHanim and you know there's a strange thing that happens to me every single time i replay? i find myself having trouble breathing at especially at every "ha~ ha~ hAAAAaaaaAAA~" then after several replays, i realized i was instinctively matching my breath with theirs. i wasn't singing along, but my breath was instinctively blending with theirs, and at the end of every replay, i find myself panting and grasping for air. it was THAT powerful of a performance to affect me like that. i haven't experienced this ever in my life watching a performance.
oh dear .... I fully understand how you feel coz I experience the same thing as well .. but then I'm not good in describing my feelings in details like how you do in your comments ... I seriously love every words that u use to express your feelings ..yesss....they harmonized and sang beautifully that I just can't stop replaying this song again and again..that Ha~ Ha~ Ha~ part is really haunting ... the way they blend their voices together is magical ... I can still hear Donghun's voice clearly in that harmonization .... .... honestly speaking , I'm not much of a kpop fans until I know A.C.E . I do listen to Rain when I was much younger and do know about EXO and BTS , but I don't really consider myself as a Cloud , EXO-L or ARMY ... until I first saw Donghun on ICSYV 4 and somehow someone commented that he's in a group named A.C.E ... that's when I decided to check out A.C.E and now I don't think I can stan any other group as hard as I stan A.C.E because I've never seen such group that all members being all rounders like them ... huhuh. hence , when I first watch this performance , I didn't know the others' names ....but then I know they are from VRomance and KNK . then I keep on reading the comments right here and now I know all of their names. .. my most favorite singers in this would be Donghun , Hyunkyu and Hyunsoo ...
AzlinHanim as for me, i'm a kpop fan for almost 6 years now 😂 i didn't even noticed how the years have passed that i'm still over here fangirling lol. but for those 6 years, i've cried and been with a lot of groups ever, but i have never been this attached. ace was a group i had a lot of firsts 😂😂😂 a first fanaccount for them, subbed videos, effortly made accounts to vote (it was hard for jtbc lawd) watched on-going survival shows wholeheartedly (and anticipating two at the same time 😂) it's not that much of a big deal for a lot of people, but it's something i would remember after a long time, because it was my firsts 😂

I’ve been a cassie for 12 years now and tbh going into this cover I didn’t know what to expect because TVXQ songs are NOT easy to cover and I’ve never watched this show before but they did really well! There were some unique voices in the group, love the arrangement too. Definitely did this song justice ✨

This whole team is a full-packed talented vocalists... definitely best vocal performance for the boys group. Hyunkyu and chandong from vromance, which is vocal-focused group. Inseong and heejun from knk, vocal-focused group too. Lee donghun, main vocal at A.C.E.. Adding lee gunmin from rbw, outstanding vocals from the auditions, and ONF member lee changhyun, and a rough yet soothing voice kim hyunsoo ftw.. this team is a killer..

일단 이 곡이 기획사가 많지 않아 재능 있는 애들이 거의 모두 스엠에 몰려 있던 당시에, 그 안에서 탑클레스로만 이루어진 '에스엠이 야심차게 준비한 아카펠라 그룹' 동방신기의 가창력, 화음 등 모든 부분에서 아마 최대치를 발휘한 극악의 난이도를 자랑하는 노래라는 점을 생각하면 이 무대는 다른 어떤 오디션 프로의 보컬 미션 무대와도 비교가 불가능할 정도로 팀명 이름값 제대로 한 무대임.

IT'S ALREADY 2023 YET NOTHING CAN STILL EVER TOP THIS. Going back here once again made me feel the greatness of these team's performance again. The emotions are so heavy and the justice they gave to this song cannot be expressed in mere words. I will always sulk and hate yg-sajangnim for taking mixnine participants for granted. All other survival shows cannot even compete with mixnine even if mixnine wasn't well-received by the general public. MIXNINE remains number 1 in my heart. It was filled with aspiring idols who wants second chances and opportunities in their career but mixnine did not feel like charity like other shows. trainees and idols had to prove themselves rather than highlighting their past careers. I love Mixnine cause it was hella authentic and just built different than other shows. I'm still saddened by how it turned out for the final lineup even if years have passed already. But right now I just wanna appreciate Mixnine sm through this comment cause it was one of the best things that happened in my kpop journey. I forgot their team name but i'm always thankful for this team in putting up this cover of love in ice! I still follow some of them in their respective groups now. will always remember this heartfelt ballad stage so much love!

믹나에서도 제일 좋아했던 무대라 몇번씩 돌려봤었는데... 싱어게인2 37호 가수 박현규님 당신은 정말 최고입니다...
I think mixnine didn't give enough spotlight on how this team created the harmonies and worked to blend everything together. From the show you can see even at midpoint, the vocal instructor was already very impressed with their performance and hardly changed their song arrangement. Kudos to hyunkyu for leading this team, he's definitely very experienced in harmonies and vocal arrangements :) This will go down as one of the legendary performances from this kinda shows.
