I heard a clearer audio of this. The three of them SLAYED. June is excellent as always, Donghyuk's voice is SMOOTH AND DREAMY AS FUCK I can't even handle my feels. Hongseok really improved with his falsetto and with less straining of the voice. Basically, the three of them proved they're worthy vocals in iKON.

With just one performance, some people are convinced that hongseok should be a part of ikon. Yeah just because he did good in this performance doesn't mean he deserves something more than what he actually does. iKon's genre is hip hop, people. Hongseok's style is ballad. Yeah sure he can sing but that doesn't mean we should totally push him to join iKon. He'll only get all stressed out to fit in the group he clearly doesn't belong to. His name is *Hongseok* not what's his name! Well let's see... Hongseok has a great voice, he was scouted two weeks before Mix & Match. By YG of course, asked to join Mix & Match, has had no vocal training or dance, and yet can sing so well. To me he is Ikon's best bet to go far. Why? Because he has potential, one has a voice range, where as you can see, his voice is great. It blends well with Junhoe and Donghyuk. No matter what Vocal range you are born with it, no matter how much the other two train their voice, it will not get as high as Hongseok, sorry but true. Ikon needs vocals to blend with each other, and this video is proof of why Hongseok, deserves to be in the vocal line, to help Junhoe, blend the voices of the others, so well, that ikon needs. Don't hate! Ikon/TeamB fans should come together and vote for what is best for Ikon, as a whole, not just be stubborn, because that is your bias, I did not want Hongseok at first, but now his colors have been shown through fan videos, he is kind, loving and caring of the members, he has been deemed evil by mnet editing, he seems to be a great guy. i vote for OT6>Hongseok!!!!! His voice quality is just good. But not great. You can barely hear his low notes. You can only hear him best in his falsetto. Thats a very big weakness. His voice doesnt have the clarity like Donghyuk or Junhoe has. You can clearly hear Donghyuk and Junhoe's low notes here. Hongseok's low notes gets drowned out by the music up until he pulled a falsetto. If you really measure his range, youll see how limited it is. Watch Just Another Boy fan meeting performance. Hongseok was off key during his part.
Well we will just wait and see if he is not edited out by Mnet, this is just fan cams, so there is a big difference in sound, but, as some one who works in this industry, I find him to have the most potential to grow, and his voice is the strongest out of the three. Also just my professional opinion, you do not have to agree.
***** i am not expert. But in my understanding those who sing high they r tenor thats why they cant sing low. While junhoe is more like baritone. So he sings in low register. As much as i know tenors dont sing low. If only they r not contrtenor. That is really rare.

Guys Hongseok can learn and improve his dance and confidence. Remember out of everyone he has the least training time. He has the talent though. Even as a listener I can tell he is the best person to compliment junhwe in terms of vocals. They both also worked well with donghyuk. This is the right balance. Charnwoos voice is too thin and Jinhyung has that stupid rumour which will mess up ikons image even if voice is decent. I know Hongseok is not naturally hip hop but who seriously is besides b.i and bobby? Let's get real here. Daesung wasn't hip hop nor was seungri actually but look at them now. Being different isn't a bad thing. Gd and top didn't get fame on their own they needed their strong vocalists to back them up. People telling me good sjngers aren't needed in hip hop don't make me laugh.
Also, look at Dara, Bom & Top they can't dance too. Why they are in YG? Through practice you can learn how to be good dancer but to have a beautiful voice like hongseok, that's what they so-called a gift from God. The number 1 you want to know in a group like that is that how good their vocals is, not their dancing skills or visuals only. They will not going to last longer in music industry if their voices are ehhehhhehheeee....

That's that kind of bullsh*t that makes me think he sucks, even though he doesn't suck only the people supporting him blindly without the understanding of what Team B went through, those people SUCK, and they make me want to hate on the newbies uselessly. They are young trainees who didn't have to suffer the separation from their friends and family for as long as the OT6. They didn't suffer as much set backs. They didn't wait years fearing they would never debut. They didn't have time to disregard their health in order to practice because they had everything to lose. Let's be nice, the newbies are cute, so are the original team members. They have cute voices, but they need more training. Dancing skils...? They need more training! Stage presence...? Entertainment skills...? More training!!!! So stop with the splitting OT6 crap, even adding a new untrained member when they have to debut immediately in China and then in January in Korea is a big risk. A newbie has to be trained by the more experienced members so the team can perform correctly, don't you think they have enough to do as it is? The HongSeok one doesn't even dance correctly with a month of training on one performance, do you expect that a miracle will happen and he will become as skillful as the others by God's will? Please! I know what they've went through... I was there since ep 3 of WIN but does that mean we can't have a choice?? Is this a bit unfair for people with better vocal? And about the trainee part CW and Jinhy only trained 1 month more than Hongseok as compared to dance yes his losing but vocally he's way better than chanwoo (I love Jinhyung's voice too so will be glad if it's him). This will be a bigger risk if ot6+Chanwoo happens.. don't you see in long run. The public can wait for a dancer but not a vocal. Vocal range is pretty obvious whether they have potential or not. His name is *Hongseok* not what's his name! Well let's see... Hongseok has a great voice, he was scouted two weeks before Mix & Match. By YG of course, asked to join Mix & Match, has had no vocal training or dance, and yet can sing so well. To me he is Ikon's best bet to go far. Why? Because he has potential, one has a voice range, where as you can see, his voice is great. It blends well with Junhoe and Donghyuk. No matter what Vocal range you are born with it, no matter how much the other two train their voice, it will not get as high as Hongseok, sorry but true. Ikon needs vocals to blend with each other, and this video is proof of why Hongseok, deserves to be in the vocal line, to help Junhoe, blend the voices of the others, so well, that ikon needs. Don't hate! Ikon/TeamB fans should come together and vote for what is best for Ikon, as a whole, not just be stubborn, because that is your bias, I did not want Hongseok at first, but now his colors have been shown through fan videos, he is kind, loving and caring of the members, he has been deemed evil by mnet editing, he seems to be a great guy. i vote for OT6>Hongseok!!!!! His voice quality is just good. But not great. You can barely hear his low notes. You can only hear him best in his falsetto. Thats a very big weakness. His voice doesnt have the clarity like Donghyuk or Junhoe has. You can clearly hear Donghyuk and Junhoe's low notes here. Hongseok's low notes gets drowned out by the music up until he pulled a falsetto. If you really measure his range, youll see how limited it is. Watch Just Another Boy fan meeting performance. Hongseok was off key during his part.
Well we will just wait and see if he is not edited out by Mnet, this is just fan cams, so there is a big difference in sound, but, as some one who works in this industry, I find him to have the most potential to grow, and his voice is the strongest out of the three. Also just my professional opinion, you do not have to agree.

***** i am not expert. But in my understanding those who sing high they r tenor thats why they cant sing low. While junhoe is more like baritone. So he sings in low register. As much as i know tenors dont sing low. If only they r not contrtenor. That is really rare.

Guys Hongseok can learn and improve his dance and confidence. Remember out of everyone he has the least training time. He has the talent though. Even as a listener I can tell he is the best person to compliment junhwe in terms of vocals. They both also worked well with donghyuk. This is the right balance. Charnwoos voice is too thin and Jinhyung has that stupid rumour which will mess up ikons image even if voice is decent. I know Hongseok is not naturally hip hop but who seriously is besides b.i and bobby? Let's get real here. Daesung wasn't hip hop nor was seungri actually but look at them now. Being different isn't a bad thing. Gd and top didn't get fame on their own they needed their strong vocalists to back them up. People telling me good sjngers aren't needed in hip hop don't make me laugh.

Through practice you can learn how to be good dancer but to have a beautiful voice like hongseok, that's what they so-called a gift from God. Hongseok tiene una gran voz el no se puede complementar a la empresa porque tiene poco tiempo de estar en ella el viene de jyp y los estilos son diferentes. Donghyuk y el fueron trainnes al mismo tiempo en jyp( en un video de jyp se puede ver a los 2 como trainnes en ella) Entoces si sacamos cuentad Hongseok ha luchado por su sueño entre 3 a 2 años como los chicos del team b sólo que nosotros sabemos por lo que han pasado ellos pero no por no saber por li que ha pasado Hongseok el no haya luchado.

That's that kind of bullsh*t that makes me think he sucks, even though he doesn't suck only the people supporting him blindly without the understanding of what Team B went through, those people SUCK, and they make me want to hate on the newbies uselessly. They are young trainees who didn't have to suffer the separation from their friends and family for as long as the OT6. They didn't suffer as much set backs. They didn't wait years fearing they would never debut. They didn't have time to disregard their health in order to practice because they had everything to lose. Let's be nice, the newbies are cute, so are the original team members. They have cute voices, but they need more training. Dancing skils...? They need more training! Stage presence...? Entertainment skills...? More training!!!! So stop with the splitting OT6 crap, even adding a new untrained member when they have to debut immediately in China and then in January in Korea is a big risk. A newbie has to be trained by the more experienced members so the team can perform correctly, don't you think they have enough to do as it is? The HongSeok one doesn't even dance correctly with a month of training on one performance, do you expect that a miracle will happen and he will become as skillful as the others by God's will? Please! I just hope this is going to end with OT6 + Jinhyung or Chanwoo because they only have 2 month to prepare for their debut. No time for mediocrity.

I know what they've went through... I was there since ep 3 of WIN but does that mean we can't have a choice?? Is this a bit unfair for people with better vocal? And about the trainee part CW and Jinhy only trained 1 month more than Hongseok as compared to dance yes his losing but vocally he's way better than chanwoo (I love Jinhyung's voice too so will be glad if it's him). This will be a bigger risk if ot6+Chanwoo happens.. don't you see in long run. The public can wait for a dancer but not a vocal. Vocal range is pretty obvious whether they have potential or not. You can improve but you will still stay in your range and obviously someone is lacking it but people just blindly ignoring it which I don't get why at all.
