Why not the lip?? Or belly?I’d think the back will occasionally paralyze them, or make them die quicker but I’ve never used bluegill for bait. That’s why I’m looking up how people rig them
If you hook it in the belly it will tear its organs , but I guess you could hook it in the mouth but it would probably tear easily
