Vegetables on the Farm
On a day when the warm autumn sun shone down, the villagers gathered at the farm to harvest the sweet potatoes they had carefully cultivated throughout the year. As they dug through the soft soil and pulled out freshly harvested sweet potatoes, proud smiles spread across everyone's faces. By looking at how deeply the sweet potatoes were embedded in the ground, they could tell how good this year's crop had been.
