I have also struggled with migraines since childhood. I am sure you already know that they alone can cause extreme fatigue but it's so important to rule out any other underlying medical issue. So happy the EEG was normal and Dash was such a brave boy! Love you guys! 💛💙💛💙💛💙💛

sounds like you are trying everything medically to check dash out. i believe whole-heartedly in the medical field, and am so grateful your kids have parents that get them thoroughly checked out! if i may, something that has helped me is somatic experiencing. it's an alternative therapy, but it seems like you are on board with those kinds of things given that you take your daughter to equine therapy. it helps to regulate the nervous system, perhaps he is having some distress and it could be helpful :) it's something i've done for a couple years and it has helped my health issues that were never explained by docs.

What a good boy Dash! Sitting so nicely and being polite 💙 even though it can’t be the most pleasant things to have done, especially if he’s having a not great pots day 😢
The salt in McDonald’s will help him, oddly, even though we can have high blood pressure we’re supposed to have more salt.
You said something about having a drink makes him feel better & you thought it sounded odd or something similar you said.
You’re absolutely right! Spot on in fact, we’re supposed to have much more fluid in us than ordinary people. So that’s why it helps 😀
Having a stomach bug, allergies with ‘stomach things’ makes ordinary people feel bad, but when you have POTS the water deficit makes us feel dreadful!
I hope his teacher isn’t someone who limits bathroom breaks, I remember it as a child & as a teacher I refused to do it, it’s a bodily function. Anyway if his teacher does make them aware and he shouldn’t be stopped going.
Look up dysautonomia too, it will make so much sense when you see what that impacts in our bodies.
Good luck Dash, I hope you get sorted soon little man x

I know exactly how this feels, I’ve had multiple EEGs, not the most enjoyable, but I wish the best for all of your children, including jordan and dash!

Awesome news the results were normal. But I know it can b frustrating when ur trying to find answers to medical conditions, I'm going thru it myself for past 6 months, thankfully for him this 1 was painless.

We are getting ready for our eeg on April 1st my 17yr has a genetic issue so she gets eeg done quite often. Hospital ones, quick ones, and ambulatory ones. She's got extra electrical discharge in her brain that aren't quite seizures yet. So we have to keep ours awake overnight so they can get a good reading.
Such a brave guy! Has he had genetic testing done? I think you should try requesting an ambulatory eeg for Dash. It'll monitor when he's sleeping which can be better than just daytime ones.

Check to see if his eye prescriptions are current which can cause fatigue and dizziness which leads to nausea. Also, see an ENT for any inner ear issues.

My mom has had migraines since age 9. I recently read it can be connected to celiac. My mom was diagnosed about 15yrs ago with celiac. Just an avenue to explore.

Clear tests are almost always a relief for the average family but I wouldn't necessarily celebrate yet. My oldest son who is 17 now started having seizures when he was about 6 years old. I'm on the other end of this, my kids were in foster care for a year 12 years ago this June. He started having them while in care. No known triggers and we don't to my knowledge have a family history of epilepsy though I had febrile seizures twice as a toddler. Gabriel has had eeg of a few different kinds over the years usually annually and it is always event free. But he has absence seizures up to a few times a month in his sleep most often but sometimes during the day. He's had a couple grand Mal seizures out of the blue just over 2 years ago only a month apart and still nothing shows on the scans. It is incredibly frustrating and can make a parent think they're going nuts.
While I do hope Dash is okay, at the same time I hope something shows up in testing to explain it, a starting point.

My son had an eeg at around 2 years old. Docs thought he might have had a seizure, but it was later found out he had “breath holding” spells. I was misdiagnosed with seizures, put on seizure meds (later in life lead to premature tooth loss, due to lack of enamel from those meds). I actually had breath holding spells.

I've had an EEG when I was in college because I was having repeated kaleidoscope vision. It came out normal but I still had visual disturbances. I went through a CT Scan which also came out normal. To this day, I still don't know what causes my visual disturbance. I get them not as much before but I still get them occasionally. I'm worried that I'll suffer a more severe medical issue in the future if this doesn't get addressed.

    Just a question!!!???
Does Dash have hearing loss?? He talks loud as my own son did at his age. We found out too late(1st grade hearing test) he has a born with hearing loss which made him talk loud and read lips from birth -☝.
    Just curious

I have a brain tumor called craniopharyngioma .When I was diagnosed I had about five to six seizures. My tumor affects all my hormones so I am taking all these kinds of medicines to help me stay a live. I have sleep apnea and narcolepsy so I am also taking medicine for that too. I have a narrowed artery in my brain so that makes me high risk of a stroke. Dash is such a brave boy !! I hope my story can help Dash to keep going. Dash, God has you here because you are going to change other peoples lives. You are going to do amazing things in life!! Keep fighting buddy!! God bless you and your family!! 😊💙🙏🏽
