- Melanie C opens up on how she overcame her eating disorder and her depression at the peak of her Spice Girls fame in the latest episode of GLAMOUR UNFILTERED hosted by Josh Smith. Sporty Spice herself talks about how she is managing her mental health in isolation, as she says depression, “never really goes away," teases the possibility of another Spice Girls reunion and reveals at the peak of her depression and body image issues, "people within the band reached out but I was too embarrassed, I didn't want to admit it," before she eventually found help from her doctor. We applaud Melanie for talking so honestly at a time when talking about our mental health is more important than ever before...

Spice Girls are always so eloquent in their interviews , you realize that big part of their timeless success radicates in that energy that they eradoate around and when the 5 Girls are together is just so powerful that's why they conquered the whole Planet, something that no other girlband has reached since then.
Good analogy. Come to think of it, they all are eloquent from Geri to Victoria to MC.. Emma’s reputable. MelB’s abit tricky but together they really are good speakers
True, they are all talented too. They can make things magical when together. Mel C wanted the band to do a song for a James Bond movie an it's a long time opportunity, They should really do it. They gonna rock the song with girl power in bond movie.

Mel C is so articulate, I could listen to her being interviewed all day, every day. I think she is a beautiful lady inside and out. I’m so pleased she’s had a long career as a celeb and remained current throughout. As a fellow “Northerner”, I feel proud of her & her achievements - she’s such a role model to young women imo!
As a side, I’ve seen her perform solo on several occasions and she is soooo good live.

She really needs to pen an autobiography. I know she's quite a secretive person but she had an incredible journey than went from becoming famous overnight to suffering badly with depression and an eating disorder, really hating being a Spice Girl to becoming somone that raises the flag for the band once again. I think Emmas autobiography would be interesting too, though not as interesting as she comes across as incredibly vanilla.

Must be pretty overwhelming to actually take on board just how successful the Spice Girls were. We're all onlookers looking in that will never comprehend the journey they went on. Must be crazy being a Spice Girl, they achieved so much in such little time.

I think she realised how much she loves being a Spice Girl and honouring all the fans that put her in the fortunate position she is in today. She remembers and pays tribute to her roots unlike a certain band member that only mentions the Spice Girls that when it benefits her...cough, cough...oh hey Victoria.

She's even more beautiful in the flesh. I've seen the Spice Girls live 4 times and was lucky enough to meet her. She's incredibly sweet and is genuinely interested when you speak to her, unlike other celebrities. So down to earth.

@@lunalove9395 she looked terrible. Just look at her at the Christmas In Spiceworld live at Earls Court- she's a walking skeleton in a shiny dress. Emma and Mel B are the only ones without an eating disorder.
