Hi KK & Kristen 🤗 I looovvve this idea! I have an 18 inch doll too! I’ve made a couple of outfits for her, one is a dress designed by Pamela! You are going to have sooo much fun crocheting the clothes! Hmm 🤔 growing up the only present I ever asked for was a doll…I was very lucky to have four…I still have my baby doll…I had a doll in a bride’s dress…a doll in a blue dress…and a doll named Velvet, when you pressed her belly button her hair grew very long, and there was a knob on her back that you turned and her hair went back to being short! Thank you for bringing back such fond memories! 🥰🧶🤩

What you are doing is going to be incredibly special. Excited to see what you make. Those might be the 15 inch ones and Pamela has patterns for that size too. Just measure her and see if she's 18 or 15 before you invest in the patterns.
I grew up with American Girl Dolls and I still have them. My Nana got me my first doll. I I still have her and always will.
I have made lots of doll clothes from Barbie to AG to just little cloth dolls. It's fun! Pamela has wonderful patterns.
I can't wait to get started !

I just had a boring Barbie, but she had a homemade formal, lavender with lace overlay. I LOVED that dress!

My sister and I had Barbies and friends. I still have my original Winnie the Pooh stuffy. 🧸

How awesome!! Five years will fly by!! My granddaughter is 4 almost 5 and it seems like yesterday when she was born. I wonder if the baby cardigan and sweater I designed would fit her?!? lol as I type this you say no sweaters 😂

That's a neat idea!! I might do that for my grandbaby that's gonna be born soon! I did not have that style of doll. My favorite doll was my Cabbage Patch doll named Jeffrey and I didn't change his clothes. Now I had other baby dolls that were girls and I did change their clothes. I also had Barbie dolls and I had a lot of clothes for them 😂

My oldest grand daughter gifted me used "less than perfect" 18" doll so I could make cloths for some for her other 18" dolls.

Yes I have made doll clothes I've got a couple outfits done for my granddaughters dolls I made some last year n now I have a couple outfits done for this year I'll email ya the one outfit I done I really luv it QOTD I had Chrissy doll n baby tears n baby tender love u gals have a gr8 day 🤓💜

Question of the day! Answer is I had a Cabbage Patch doll. Her name was Sylvia on her birth certificate. We have to have a horse at that time that was also named Sylvia. That’s about all I remember for that doll. I had other dolls.
