  • We work hard, live well, play hard and that's simply Owerri. a land of immeasurable inspirations, opportunities, hidden beauties, best foods, sites and people. Don't let the UK/USA waste the best years of your life don't wait till your 65 or 75 years old, start your own building and own a 4 bed home for less than $500 per month see details and breakdown . One plot of land is enough for a 4 bed bungalow and parking but cost of land is subject to its location. in Owerri urban lands starts from £2000 or $2,541 which is about 1million naira but in the villages around Owerri a plot of land is about $700 or less.
You need about 3500 building blocks which is about $2000 this includes cost of cement, sand and labour to mould your blocks, $700 is enough for your foundation. so $5,500 has taken your 4 bed to the lintel level add 3 to 4 coaches of blocks and you can do your roof for $4000 or less another $800 is enough for doors and windows.
so $12,000 gives you, land outside Owerri , a 4 bed with roof and windows/ doors then you can start finishings. labour shouldn't cost more than $2500 but make sure you buy your own building materials. for further advise call me on London +44777 667 9063 or email visitowerriloveowerri@gmail.com Follow my channel for inspiration • The True Beauty of Owerri and • Don't let the UK or US... US President Donald Trump, said he would like to visit Nigeria, a country he described as an amazing and beautiful country.
The U.S leader has stated this on Monday during a joint briefing with his Nigerian counterpart, President Muhammadu Buhari.
He said: “I would very much like to visit Nigeria. It is an amazing country and in certain ways, I hear from the standpoint of the beauty of a country, there is no country more beautiful.”

I swear down, the Igbos are a blessed race and i'm so proud to be Igbo! Any other group of people that have to go through what Ndigbo are being put through in Nigeria.....a country that's supposed to protect them , encourage them and threat them fairly....anyone else that's put through this from the late 60s to date would never achieve even 10% of what we have achieved in Nigeria!
I've always posited that what's kept our head above the water as a people is our industrious, never-say-die spirit! The average Igbo man abhors failure, laziness and handouts! Where we have a problem as a people is with our gov'ts (both state and federal....esp' federal)! Just check out Owerri, Onitsha, Nnewi, Aba and Enugu, and you'd discover as this revealing video has shown us that we can never be found wanting when it comes to individual achievements. What lets our cities down is a dearth or total absence of public utilities/services like adequate sanitation (street sweeping, etc), parks, reticulated water supply, etc, and a total absence or inadequate provision of infrastructure like roads, power supply, airports, sea/river ports, etc.....all these are supposed to be the responsibility of gov't (state and federal)! Some state gov'ts are doing a bit with the scarce resources they have and this is reflected in some of our cities like Enugu, Abakaliki, Owerri and Aba of recent, but like i said, they need to do a bit more to make their efforts world-class! Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi is doing good things in Abakaliki....just google 'ebbc project hour', and i'm sure you'd be impressed with what you see!
Owerri in particular and Imo in general is not there yet, but it's well on its way to getting there! What it needs is a proper world-class international airport, and a huge injection of funds, targeted at provision of world-class infrastructure in Owerri, Orlu, Okigwe and Oguta! That lake at Oguta is a potential goldmine just waiting to be exploited!
Thanks for your efforts at showcasing your city....one can just sense how proud you are of it! Oh, and before i forget, your spoken Igbo is damn impressive.....even better than mine! When you get going in Igbo, you totally loose the cockney accent, LOL!

STREETS OF LONDON ARE NOT SAFE: Since my return from Nigeria over 30 people have been killed on the streets of London and a few days ago a 17 year old girl was shot and killed in a drive by shooting in North London and within 2 hours of the shooting another 16 year old boy was shot just a few miles away and that boy died from his injuries today 4th April 2018
From January to September 2017 Britain saw over 37,000 recorded knife offences and about 6,500 recorded gun offences. Over 12,000 of these knife offences took place on the streets of London and this is not an exaggeration please check the figures for yourselves.
Four teenagers were stabbed to death with a knife in this town on New Year's Eve alone, and 22 people were killed in March 2018, so London is deadlier than New York, Nigeria and other Countries that have been misrepresented in the press and other media networks for decades.
98% of these killings are not robbery related, it is just pure envy, hatred and misguided perceptions of what they think a modern society is all about. Britain is meant to be a country full of educated and civilized people, how ironic.
A BRIGHT AND PROMISING YOUNG NIGERIA WAS SHOT AND KILLED IN EAST LONDON IN MARCH 2018, HIS FATHER IS A MEMBER OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES IN NIGERIA AND PEOPLE WOULD THINK THAT THE YOUNG MAN WOULD HAVE BEEN SAFE OVER HERE IN LONDON BUT HE WAS THE 12TH PERSON TO BE KILLED IN JUST MARCH 2018
in just one night alone on 20th February 2018, six people were stabbed in London and in one particular week in March 2018 eight people were killed.
454 acid attacks were reported in London in 2016 and in one night in July 2017 one person poured acid in the faces of 5 different people within 15 to 20 minutes of each crime. The suspect did not even know is victims neither did is victims know each other.
My brothers and sisters, parents, friends and country men, where do i start or where should i finish.
If 5% of these wicked offences occurred in Jamaica, Nigeria or anywhere in Africa, Britain would have imposed a travel ban restricting its citizens from visiting those areas. Yet people swim across the mediterranean to come to London. if you are not born in the UK or if you have no residency papers please stay in your beautiful towns until fortune shines on you because it certainly will shine on you.
There are large proportions of your countries that are 200 times better than the UK but their media would always tell you that your country is bad and others would call it a shit hole town, what a joke. Please open your eyes and see the truth for yourselves.

Africans now realise that life does not begin and end in the UK and US and greener pastures is a state of mind. However, when we embrace the concept of "content with what one has, it simply adds a whole new meaning to the term greener pastures. everyone i know in Africa and the UK are missing their African villages at this point and time and after this lockdown i see a whole new frontier opening up on the village front. @@madubaym Michael Thanks a million, just imagine if all of us love and build up where we come from, back home would look like dubai. sometimes good ideas that can benefit mankind never see the light of day as the originator seeks payment for the good idea. there is nothing wrong in seeking payment for an idea but if payment is not coming forth immediately it doesn't mean it wont be attained later in kind. example if i have an idea for everyone to redecorate our street or village, i may not get immediate payment in cash for the suggestion but in the long run if the area has been beautified following my idea it means my property on that street has appreciated value, so i see this as payment in kind, same if i own a restaurant or other businesses on that street, suggesting an idea for us to redecorate our environment would attract more customers to my restaurant and businesses on that street as its been beautified and attractive to many. so its not always about immediate payment. Michael just imagine if you and I plus another 998 people were doing exactly what am doing through this channel creating awareness , influencing mindsets, in just 3 years our villages and towns would look like the best places on the face of the earth. trust me its not about govt but more of private effort. just like you am born and bred in London but had the beautiful opportunity to live in Nigeria as a kid for 15 years and all i saw was beauty but i see a lot of suffering in the UK. i am challenging all to start inviting their non Nigerian friends back home for holidays , how can we live in the UK and US all our lives and we cant bring our friends home, are we ashamed of something, then if we are , isn't it time we do something about it to address the concern. i am working on some new projects and would fill you in later and also when you have the time read one of my old articles from 2013 titled LAGOS STATE A SUPER WEST AFRICAN STATE PART 1&2 please note there is sarcasm in the title. Stay Blessed.

    • @visitowerriloveowerri4599
      @visitowerriloveowerri4599  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Hi Chucks, thanks for your encouraging comments once again. the general idea is to show case Imo State, its capital Owerri and all pretty towns and villages alike. i am not in Nigeria at the moment but am looking to go back and document for the world who we really are but i can assure you that Oguta is at the top of my list, in fact, Oguta has to be at the top of any Imolite's list to show case, the lake, the resort its beautiful people and culture .
My brother, Imo and other South Eastern States are open for business and other investments, tourism, stop overs exports and a hub for other Countries to experience what the foreign media has hidden away from the world. The World has been lied to for decades about Africa particularly the Nigeria region. Chucks imagine this senario, 2 shops have had the monopoly of supplying goods to a particular area for years. What do you think their main strategy to stay on top of their game would be? i believe they would do all in their power to ensure their customers never visit another shop by discrediting the competition in so many ways e.g. introducing crime to the area, meaning shoppers cant shop at ease, have their cars vandalized in the competitors own car park and generally make the competitions environment unsafe and a no go area for shoppers. as a result those shoppers gravitate to the alleged safer shopping environments. The truth is, countries also do this by demonizing other countries through their media, foreign policy, trade embargoes and even introduce crime and repeatedly magnify it to the world.
Do you know how many 419 deals that were stage managed by other countries , i mean professional mugus. A country via its agencies can stake a £100 million share it among 10 operatives send them into Nigeria to pose as high flying businessmen, encourage big spending at all top joints, attract unusual attention to themselves then sharks start circulating by enticing the operatives who are fake businessmen into doing business. The operative plays a little hard to get but later concedes by deliberately loosing the £10million given to him to these con men. Now the con men go away thinking that their intellect has pulled off the deal of the century not knowing that the mugu was fake as his aim was to simply loose the money to attract negative headlines to the area. So if 10 fake businessmen loose £10 million each in Nigeria in a 3 month period and the media carries the story and magnifies it, the damage that this could potentially cause to our image and economy could be up to £1 BiLLION pounds per each £10 million pounds lost to con men so that is a total of £10 BILLION pounds in lost investment in just 3 months which would have normally come from tourist and other foreign investors but the negative headlines has discouraged them. Now that is £40 Billion in a year which the old farmer in the village could have benefited from even if it was just 10,000 Naira that got to her. Most Caribean and Mediterainean countries solely rely on money spent by tourist to sustain their GDP but if those areas are not safe their economy suffers and it impacts their citizens.
Again, in 2010 the day after the world cup in South Africa a major international TV network aired a very negative documentary about Africa and how homophobic the countries are by claiming they kill or jail homosexuals. So in my article titled THE COLOUR OF NIGERIA THAT THE FOREIGN MEDIA HESITATE TO SHOW, (By ONONIWU ANYANWU-EKEOCHA ) i questioned the TIMING of their documentary as it was timed and aired when all eyes were still on AFRICA , nearly 3 billion people watched the world cup and about 7 billion heard about it. but that negative documentary alone, potentially scared away billions of pounds worth of investment, its Timing was intentional. This is what other countries do to slow you down, so we all must be aware of it and counter it
when politicians hide money outside Nigeria, the host country could have stop it from coming in but they wont as they want the world to know that Nigeria is a no go area for investment, holidays or general day to day business.. Therefore it is our duty to stop this by drowning these negative stories with positive ones. in Jan 2009 i returned from holiday and my colleagues were looking at my village pictures full of palm trees and white paint finishes and they said , aren't these pictures of Cyprus or Spain but i replied with pride that those are pictures of my remote village in Eastern Nigeria. Chucks if you have anyone back home ask them to video the lake from very good angles and other beautiful sights around Oguta and we can work on it, i also need videos of other beautiful towns and villages in South East Nigeria to show case. send them to visitowerriloveowerri@gmail.com God Bless you and God Bless our people.

ALERT ALERT ALERT.some people are editing the history of ikwere people on Wikipedia claiming there accepted origin is Bini without any prove. .this is just to let the world know what's happening. ..they are trying hard to dissociate igbos in rivers and delta from there true origin without any evidence. IGBO leaders should be on alert of these alterations. I read the history of ikwere people on Wikipedia just last week, there was no mention of Bini there, today it was edited and a section was dedicated to there supposed origin from Bini and they claimed its the accepted origin by ikwere people. The people of IKWERE should rise up and do something about people who alter there history on Wikipedia without consultation. .how can you come from Bini and there is nothing in the culture, language, tradition showing your from there..my people go to Wikipedia now and see what I just saw..fabricated stories without prove..anyone who hasn't read about this before will tend to believe it.they even said some ikwere came from MALI. ..

Nnewi can look like this if you want it to, the whole south east can look like this if we want. watch my other videos. i work for a large company that builds small towns, including houses and the environment, roads , trees, grass and we also invest in social intergration. example, if you paint all the fences on one street in Nnewi it would look different. now imagine if we paint all the old houses on one street, trust me Nnewi would look like spain and remember Nnewi is a town and people that everybody is proud of. it can be done, i am loading another 15 videos shot in my rural village, watch out and God Bless

Visit Owerri Love Owerri I wish Nnewi was like port harcourt😭, honestly! Nnewi needs multiple shopping centres with nice restaurants.. there need to be attractions such as cinemas and amusement parks etc. Nnewi has potential to be a megacity but I honestly don’t know why rich business folks don’t want to invest in Nnewi.

      Give it time and planning.
Let's all start with basic, real, documented town planning and tree planting, so that ,as we build, everything is set right. Most Igbo cities and villages lack this.

Neon Dawn I like their accent don’t mean I worship them. I do admire Europeans, what they have accomplished in this world together with the Jews. They single handily advanced the human race, although civilisation like ancient Egypt was advanced and everyone copied from them including Europe but Europeans took it to another level. But I don’t worship them, I only copy their good qualities. The Jews are incredible because they led them (Europeans) to industrialisation which is incredible.

@@osemoboaikeremiokha7425 AT THE END OF MY RESPONSE BELOW I WOULD SHOW YOU HOW TO OWN A MANSION OR MANSIONS LIKE THE ONES IN MY DOCUMENTARIES IN YOUR HOME COUNTRY, YOU DONT HAVE TO BE RICH, STEAL OR KILL, RATHER JUST BE DICIPLINED, FOCUSED , DETERMINED AND CONSISTENT AND FROM AS LITTLE AS $300 TO $500 A MONTH IN 2 YEARS YOU COULD OWN YOUR MANSION
BUT FIRST I MUST RESPOND TO YOUR UNFAIR BIAS TOWARDS IGBOS, DONT GET ANGRY, TAKE IT AS A MAN BECAUSE I TOOK YOUR OWN ASSUALT ON MY PEOPLE AS A MAN, NOW LISTEN UP MATE:
i find your reference to igbos very disturbing. it is very true that igbos are very, very ambitious, we pursue success and excellence and if you come to Igbo land you would agree that apart from, South African, Banana Island in Lagos and Maitama /Ministers Hill in Abuja , Igbo towns and cities are the best looking in Africa,. its not about how much money you have but is about what you do with .
igbos would rather invest their money in businesses and assets ( landed properties ) instead of spending all of it in a night club, it does not make them bad people or money lovers, it just means they are wise and prudent just in case of a rainy day. You say they are criminals, how about where you come from, are there no criminals within your tribe or town.
i am Igbo and am not a criminal, am a Property Lawyer/Property Manger in London. My wife is a Barrister in London. my cousins are Doctors , Surgeons, heads of Banks and executives of oil companies, 2 of my sisters husbands were Airline Pilots ( Captains) in Nigeria. My own Father was a top structural and civil engineer in the London and Nigeria for more than 60 years. My childhood friends and class mates in Nigeria are Brigadiers and Major Generals in the Army and very senior Police officers, other friends, family members and uncles , aunties and cousins are politicians , Judges , Engrs, Doctors , Scientist , Professors, Archdeacons , Bishops and businessmen and women
I haven't even mentioned my neighbours. But if you see any of us on the road in our cars or in our houses, you probably would call us thieves and killers, not because we are but for the mere fact that you don't like anything IGBO.
it is possibly your hatred for igbos that clouds your judgement that you don't want to see anything good in them and that makes you more dangerous than any murderer ir thief because you are capable of framing or falsely accusing an innocent Igbo man or even do worse if nobody is looking.
Tell me what town do you come from and i would show you the thieves and murders in your town and they would not be igbos they would have similar names to yours be it in Dublin or Nigeria.
Igbos manufacture cars in Nnewi Anambra State (google Innoson Motors , you should check out the jeeps, coaches, lorries, cars for sale or armoured vehicles they make for the Army they also make fighter Jet Parts for the Air Force google it its not hidden.) ,
We Igbos make computers , ( Google Zinox Computers ) we make phones and Fighter Jet parts for the Air Force, we supply goods and service throughout Africa and that is why you see those Beverly hills looking mansions in Imo, Anambra, Enugu, Abia and Eboyin States that makes you so angry and it is hatred like yours that makes igbos more successful.
Am not saying Igbos are saints, there are also criminal elements amongst them just like any other tribe or nation but i know that for one Igbo criminal there are 5,000 law abiding igbos and i believe the same ratio applies to your own people and every race and nation on the face of the earth.
DO NOT LET YOUR HATRED CONSUME YOU, RATHER FIND OUT THE SECRET TO THEIR SUCCESS AND PLEASE DONT GO AND STEAL BUT WORK HARD, SAVE AND INVEST WISELY.
NOW THAT I HAVE GOT EVERYTHING OFF MY CHEST, LETS BUILD YOUR MANSION TOGETHER READ BELOW AND MESSAGE ME IF YOU NEED MORE ADVICE.
THE COST OF ONE NEW IPHONE IS ENOUGH TO START YOUR BUILDING FOUNDATION; £1200 IS ENOUGH TO MOULD BLOCKS FOR A 4 BED BUNGALOW OR £2500 IS ENOUGH TO MOULD BLOCKS FOR A DUPLEX ( ONE STOREY BUILDING)
      SO LETS FOCUS ON A BUNGALOW. COST OF IPHONE COVERS FOUNDATION , £1200 FOR ALL THE BUILDING BLOCKS £2500 IS ENOUGH FOR YOUR ROOF: £800 IS ENOUGH FOR ALL OF YOUR WINDOWS AND DOORSS;
SO CAN YOU SEE THAT YOUR MANSION HAS STARTED TAKING SHAPE ALREADY.
SO LET ME TELL YOU HOW TO RAISE THE MONEY
PLEASE DONT STEAL, JUST CUT DOWN ON YOUR OUTGOINGS IN DUBLIN, FORGET CLUBS, BUY YOUR DRINK FROM THE SHOP AND DRINK IT AT HOME. STOP BUYING £100 SHOES , SHIRTS , JACKETS AND TROUSERS, WEAR PRIMARK CLOTHES FOR 2 YEARS,
DONT USE TAXIS USE THE BUS, CUT DOWN ON MCDONALDS, KFC , CHINESES TAKE AWAYS AND PIZZA, DONT EAT IN RESTAURANTS COOK AT HOME SAVE £300 TO £500 A MONTH AND IN 2YEARS YOU WOULD BE LAUGHING.
IGBOS ARE NOT THIEVES AND MURDERERS WE ARE SIMPLY AMBITIOUS AND WE NEVER GIVE UP. NOW MY FRIEND TELL , DO YOU STILL HATE IGBOS, BE HONEST BECAUSE I WONT BE OFFENDED.
GOD BLESS YOU FROM YOUR IGBO FRIEND.

I sincerely apologise if you have misinterpreted the message, Trump should be corrected, we dont come from shit hole towns and he did correct himself. some like New York but i like my Village, i was born in the UK but i still prefer my village. I wasnt talking about Nigeria', i was talking about my Village.
In the UK am surrounded by Nigerians from other State who tell all from other countries that Igbos live in huts and ontop of rubbish dumps but Christiana you know that is not true. I came to Nigeria as a kid and left as a man and one thing i just couldnt forget was that, igbos, my kind, my people, my brothers and sister are not liked by many in Nigeria and outside. i lived in Owerri , Enugu, Makurdi Jos and Lagos for many years but the North was during my formative years, i was a kid and i know what they did to me everyday for years until i risked it as a 16 year old and ran away back to Imo and i never felt safe until i got to my VILLAGE.
So Christiana all am telling people is, be proud of who you are and appreciate what youv'e got and if you want a better environment then you need to lead by example and others might follow, God Bless you my dear and if you want to see the village then go to my page (LOVE OWERRI )
