Amazing work and skills, but this must have cost a small fortune. Why didn't the owner just buy a silver car to start with. From a financial prospect none of this makes any sense.
@@63humanbeing Excuse me, but I'm just as entitled to appreciate the work and express an opinion, as you are to appreciate the work and keep silent. Don't be so entitled to assume you have the right to tell others what to say or do. I'm expressing an opinion, I'm not telling anyone what to do.
I think that in their country you have to pay 200% taxes on foreign cars. Because labour is cheaper it is pretty common to see full Restaurations or conversions to a newer model. For example in Turkey a brand new S Class costs 400'000 USD. A used one which costs in Europe maybe 10'000 USD costs in Turkey at least 50'000 USD. An hour of labour costs 15 USD. So people buy the older model and spend another 30'000 USD on it to make it look like a newer one because the taxes for a brand new one are way to high
Uk guy here and I have the same questions as a lot of others. To us this would make no sense at all. You can buy a silver Merc for less than this would cost to do. But also, the car won’t be as good as before. There will be some clips and glues that don’t quite fit right and there will be some small stretches in some of the materials. Nice video and some skilled work there. Thanks for sharing
if i am the original owner with low mileage I would definitely do it. Plus this is China, parts and labor are definitely lot lower than western countries.
Yea you're right, it doesn't make sense. Probably hobbyist (sentimental values), low labour cost, and last but not least : content for youtube (also advertisement for their shop).
This Incredible Rebuild, Repaint I'm Sure that there is a very high Sentimental Value of the previous Owner. and it's done excellently. Great Work.......Dai Hao Dai Hao.....
Have you been to China? I have too many times, work for a major US company. I assure you these factories and shops exist. It serves to more affluent clients.
Very detailed work for sure! Would have been nice to have some commentary....background of the car.... why they chose this route..... financial considerations ...etc....
Great work, but based on the tail lights this can't be a 2012 MB? These came in a pre-facelift models before 2009-2010? Or was it different in different markets? And I do agree with the comment below about painting the car that costs 5k€ to buy :) crazy investment
These cars are rare in China and actually it’s not possible to import old aged vehicles like this to China so probably the total overhaul or paint change is worth the time and money! this car is going to be a classic in next 20 years.
You said it, another car. If I am the original owner and I know the history, I would spend the $10k doing it. Remember this is China now. Material cost and labor cost are not what western countries charges.
Those guys are for real. They should have a franchise here in the state's. They will be billionaire. I'll take my car to them. There're the best in the world 🌎
Superb job to a very high standard only tiny thing why leave trunk hinges black ? I no they have a cover on but it’s the only give away it’s been colour changed 🤔 . Still perfection imo 🙏🏻👍🏻😉🇬🇧
It was more like a in deep detailing than just a paint work. Paint job came into second on this one. Very good work! It's strange it to be a 2012 car. Maybe in your country because after 2010 it should have the new headlights and taillights... It would have been a good moment for a retrofit!
I jusr recently discovered your channel and i must say you guys are way above professional. You are certainly exceptionally good at what you do. However i find the repetitive background music distracting and annoying . How about a different approach...like just the actual sound of in the workshop?
Great job but the most important thing was the inner wings and engine bay which you left uncleaned and black. So I'm afraid you loose a lot of points for that!!!🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
I don't mean to piss on anyone's parade, I appreciate the incredible amount of work that went into this but there's something in the way that MB assembles these cars and what I mean by that is, if you take it apart, no matter what you do, it won't be the same as it was from the factory. I've seen something similar done by a very high-end company for a client here, the car looked amazing but it was creaking and squeaking from every possible joint, also it was significantly louder than it was before, the guy had to sell the car as he couldn't live with it.
Thats impressive, the level of detail and skill to strip down paint and put it all back together.... love it !
Amazing work and skills, but this must have cost a small fortune. Why didn't the owner just buy a silver car to start with. From a financial prospect none of this makes any sense.
Very judgmental view, just appreciate the work if you find it worth it, and that’s it 😮

Labour is cheaper over there. They might not be getting paid by the hour, more like a lumpsum cost.
This definitely would be getting near the total cost of the car. These are cheap in the UK

Wow!! As a detailed, organized, clean freak, and a Mercedes owner…. This guys just put my cleaning to shame! Wow!!! WOW!!! GREAT JOB!!!
This guys?
Brand spanking new! What a transformation! Well done gents

Yup. Never as good as ‘factory’

Also whats the point of completely dissassembling the whole interior. Could have cleaned the seats without all that crazy work lol.
@@s1bulka They added more sound deadening towards the end when putting the seats back.
This felt like we watching MB assemble a car. This was done to detail. Awesome work
I never realized how much work goes into a Mercedes. Now, I appreciate mine a lot more.
Amazing job; however, what was even more amazing was the editing part. Bravo! 🎩
Fantastic results. Great people doing great work. That Mercedes looks superb.
Better than new

It’s amazing that my 93 MB 300 comes apart so similar to a newer MB! Nice work, very well thought out and executed
End result is like a piece of art! Congrats and astonishing work done!
Thank you

amazing work.
very nice aditional sound insulation
와우 중국에도 이렇게 디테일하게 작업하는 공장이 있다. 정말 놀랍다!!!!!!

That is some very wholesome quality work there.
Very detailed work for sure! Would have been nice to have some commentary....background of the car.... why they chose this route..... financial considerations ...etc....
Brilliant job!
Owners saved a fortune buying an order model, and bringing it up to standard.
Did the owner also have the engine refurbished?
Oh wow!! Nice job on a car that I LOVE!!! bravo... i wonder how much did it cost the customer to have this car renewed like that
Amazing Work! Great Job!!!
Oh man. I have a silver w221 and I wish I could send it to you guys for a thorough detail as amazing as this. Wow.
지금까지 본 작업중 최고 입니다🎉
Awesome video thanks a lot😊
Unbelievable work lads. What a finished product. Absolutely perfect 👍

Fearless brilliance.
The work ethic shown here is so Asian.
Some of the cynical, argumentism on here, so Western.
looks awesome
Best painting video ever❤
Stunning.
Amazing work fellas!!!
I guess they did this job for millions of views , hope the video gets it for the hard work👍
This was so satisfying to watch. Subscribed immediately. How much would such a makeover cost?
Amazing work!!!👏👏👏👏👏
Hats off to remember where the hell everything goes again…
Thats what the vid is for!
Given the Merc another 30 yrs of cool riding.
Very nice

But as a color change its value is diminished
The price on this job is pretty much the same to buy another car. Probabliy not a mercedes, but certainly a good car
You said it, another car. If I am the original owner and I know the history, I would spend the $10k doing it. Remember this is China now. Material cost and labor cost are not what western countries charges.

Really nice work. But my question is does this paint really have a good shine like new car?
Very good job .
Good video
Price for this work?? I need this guys
In US it is at least $20k. China can do this with factory paint and cost 50%.
It was more like a in deep detailing than just a paint work. Paint job came into second on this one. Very good work!

This looks really good, how much do you charge for this complete service?
Tolle Arbeit. Perfekt! Gruß von einem MB./ GLC Mitarbeiter

Is the car flooded or why does it have to be cleaned so thoroughly?😮
Waouh......
What kind of polishing is that on windows?
Good jop 👌
fabulous
The factory couldn't have done any better lol
Excellent work , but wouldn’t it be cheaper to buy a silver car with extremely low miles ? Thank you!
Where are these guys located and how much does this process cost?
Respekt goood job💯👍

Were you guys redesigning the car? Making a paint that can make the car fly ?
What? It doesn’t even make sense. His money and he spends the way he see fits.
Nice
Wonder how much this cost? Need my SL320 painted
I’m not sure how old this car is, but if this is done to a slightly newer car, doesn’t this work pretty much cancel out every single warranty?
Thos model is like 20 years old. 😑
Nice!!! How much to make it?
Fantastic job!!!
진짜 최고십니다 👍
why didn't you do engine room color change?
In England a 2012 s350 is worth £5 to £6000 crazy to do that amount of work

After disassebmly then assemble %100 guarentee you will hear trim sounds from everywhere.
👏👏👏👏👍
can you use at least 2 songs for a video? it's crazy to listen to a 20sec loop for 12 mins
Why do we have 100 nuts and bolts left over?😂
You do not show the removal of the engine and drivetrain. Did you not repaint the engine bay???
Nice work but why? It would be far cheaper to get one with the right color
The cost of the paint must exceed the value of that taxi.?????
I was expecting some wild, non standard colour….but silver?
This had to be $20,000 plus for this to be done. Like rebuilding a whole car. Nice though.
Great job. Not affordable in Germany - or it tooks loooong time with mostly needed correction. Absolutely annoying.
Я тоже , принтер недавно разбирал. Два болта найти не могу. Вы как потом все находите, что куда, аа наверное видео назад смотрите..
