- Primary 7 pupils from Caledonian Road School, Perth, interview Mr Stewart about Halloween traditions. Mr Stewart shares his memories about dookin' for apples and catching apples and treacle scones on a string when he was growing up on the family farm. They used an old fashioned metal bath for dooking' and someone would usually dip your head under the water as a joke. He recalls that the apples and treacle scones were thickly covered in molasses (a thick treacle) which was mainly used as cow fodder and also as a medicine for the family when they were small.
