Embarking on days 93 and 94 of our journey across ATR (All Tiger Reserves), we ventured into Valparai, nestled within the expanse of the Annamalai Tiger Reserve, with the intent to unravel the mysteries surrounding the life of the Lion-Tailed Macaques.
Subsequently, we plunged into the depths of the jungle, seeking refuge amidst the lush wilderness of Annamalai.

Hi Aarzoo. Manampalli Guest House is an awesome place. Stayed there two - three times during Bird census. Its a good place for birding. You can get to see almost 150-200 different types of endemic and migratory birds. Once while staying there, I asked our beat...how about mosquitoes? He said, there are so many flycatchers in that area, you will never face any mosquito menace.

For Valparai no need for entry Ticket, Only for those who wants to go to Kavi Aruvi ( Monkey Fals) have to buy ticket. But for people going to Valparai no need to take entry ticket
The entry ticket is not really for Valparai. It is for the Annamalai Tiger Reserve of which, Valparai is a part.
