I am so upset when I think about how many times I asked my doctor when I was going thru perrimenapauce please check my hormones and she would tell me your hormones are fine.. you are just getting older. I lost so much time to get my hrt balanced because some doctors don’t want to do better for us women.
I suffered so much not being able to asleep taking benedryll or other supplements.. going thru so much anxiety hypothyroid all because of lack of balance in my hormones.
Thank you Dr. for explaining everything so thoroughly.
And to all those other doctors, who are taking care of women’s health, please pay attention and learn how to treat menopausal women.

You are amazing, so tired of people thinking that diet and exercise can fix Perimenopause and menopause, it can help but does not fix the imbalance.

It's a massive deficiency and signals a huge decline in womens health and wellbeing. I can't stand that stupid word "natural". Yes, death is NATURAL.

Prometrium makes me dizzy. I can’t drive, nor walk around without feeling unsteady, vey miserable.
My sister was diagnosed with GB (Guillain Barrett) and unable to walk on her toes, difficultly walking and taking the stairs. Upon using natural progesterone (cream), her condition was completely corrected after a few weeks.

Did you insert it... and you drop the dose down if you insert. Because it goes straight into the bloodstream no liver conversion. And you use the cream as well. A lot of women can't take high Progesterone orally. It also affects moods.

Dr.Pitsilis thank you for such helpful information. I started taking micronized progesterone and estrogen gel and I am having a great deal of bloating and weight gain? Is it the progesterone or the estrogen? Thank you!

Gut health is bad. You shouldn't gain weight on hormones. Or your doses are inadequate.

What about taking progesterone through rectal? How is absorbtion ? To full fill 290 ng/ml progesterone level, how much MG dose should be taken?

I have been having micronised progesterone utrogestan tablets for a year now. My sleep has improved, but even after one year why do I feel dizzy after taking the tablet on an empty stomach as recommended in the dosage or NICE guidelines ? Is it normal ?

Tbh I hate taking it orally and it creates more metabolites of progesterone. It’s also too much concentrated on the stomach. It’s better as a topical, inserted in vagina or rectum.

I had a terrible groggy effect and so I had to switch to vaginal but now I’m getting worried about endometrial cancer because I have some cramping.

Does micronized progesterone help reduce androgen levels? I struggle with PCOS meaning I have androgenic alopecia and hirsutism
