my best plane of all time the Tornado GR4 🇬🇧 🇩🇪 🇮🇹 I miss them always I saw the tornados at Waddington when they where there and when they went back to Germany fantastic ted and nikos 😀 🤙 👍 👏 👏 👏 👏
Oiiii Oiii Andrew, thank you so much man. They are just stunning to see and the German Air Force crew were totally awesome. Nice to see the Italian Air Force Eurofighters too oooohhhh yeahhhh
Oiiii oiiiiii Team Ted, what an absolute treat this was, thank you so so much, and when the tornado turned to face you all woweeee what all lovely pilots they are, this was just awesome ❤😎🤩🤙
Sall, we could not believe how awesome the pilots of those Tornados were. To do what he did is true class hero. Simply awesome and glad we could capture this for you all
The Italian G550 is a looker, not seen one before. Early warning aircraft. Attractive for a military style job. These exercises brings Aircraft we wouldn't normally see which is great. Oii oii the Much loved and very much missed Tornado of the Luttewaffe, smile as i watch em.. Very Smart! Eurofighter Typhoon looks so modern compared too Tornadoes. Both brilliant to watch take off. They wave at you, all of them as they taxi, what a great bunch.. 26:22 Beautiful shot of Pilots and cockpit of Tornadoes. Good too watch ancient TCS streams part of my 6 a day diet and my ongoing education plus my noise intake. Ahhh ohhhh yeahhh. Nice work 1/10/23! Waddo wonderful watch whatttt whattt!
Hi Ted. I am somewhat conflicted at the sight of these German Air Force Tornados. Aesthetically they are a joyous tour-de-force in their mucky blue-grey. And yet at the same time they stir feelings of sorrow and a little bit of anger at what we have lost. I suspect the German aircrews know how we feel about all of this and hence the waves and the care taken to show them off.
Oiii Oiii Stephen. I know exactly what you mean and I do need to add that the German Air Force are very mindful of the much missed Tornado. They were excellent and always waved and made so much effort to keep the crowd entertained. It is sad we lost them, but we can rely on our neighbours to bring them back to us to enjoy them again
Haven't seen the CAEW before Ted ? Built in Israel on a Grumman Gulfstream , interesting aircraft . Nice when the Germans bring their toys , great to see Tornados again !! Great filming guys !😍😍
Hi Geoff and Fred. It was our first time seeing a G550 CAEW and when researching, it is based on a classic biz jet, LOL. Really nice looking mods on it. Nikos misses they Tornado and you can tell the whole of Britain does. Thanks so much
Oiii oiiii Andy 🤙🏼 It was a great experience and glad we could share it with everyone. Ooh is the the W.A.V.E. Group on Facebook? I think Nikos has shared it?
Currently very quiet at Waddington as the Red Arrows are away to the Middle East.. but still oporational with the Shadows R1s and RC-135 Rivet Joint. And The Avro Vulcan Bomber XM607 Black Buck is having a cosmetic restoration.. as she would of looked in 82 the time of her involvement in Oporation Black Buck..
@@kyberwolfuk nice one 🤙🏼 will be back next year Andy for more action, especially for the Red Arrows. Not sure if they are still training over Scampton though so will be interesting to see where they fly for their training. We used to record their training through the year at Scampton so will be something new.
Still training over Scampton till March as still an active station till then possibly looking at closer to Waddington that won't clash with an Air-ambalance launch
@@kyberwolfuk The Blues did tell me they would be training over Scampton. I would have thought Wittering would have been a more suitable station? I have no idea on reasons for Waddo but it is quieter than the other stations I guess.
Ted, do you know where the pilots stayed during the exercise? Or do they keep it a secret because of autograph talkers (how do you call them). With our press card we used to visit RIAT pilots in the pilot hotel in Greemham Common.
Nice to see the Tonka 46+50 point at the photographers, to acknowledge them. And also the wave from the 'phoon pilots of 51-01, 4-56 and 4-43.
Oiii Oiii Stephen What an amazing thing to do from the Tornado pilot to swing the aircraft to face the crowd, absolutely awesome. ooooohhhh yeahhh
Nice salute of the Tornado pilot.
Ooooohhhh yeahhhh
I always loved the way pilots made contact with the audience, like the Tornado boys did here.
They were fantastic 😎🤙🏼🫡

Oii oii nothing like a good old tornado 🧸❤️
Totally
Omg lucky man those tornadoes look heavy with 2 bags of extra fuel on the wings
Oiii Oiii Robert, thank you. Yeah, classic Tornados, much missed
If a typhoon had 2 bags of fuel it wouldn’t be a problem for them
Wow! so nice to see Tornados flying again, wonder if they will go through the loop?
It was a real treat to see them again and they did fly low level through the Lake District but not sure if they went through the Mach Loop
Omg you have made my morning, the amazing and missed tornadoes, thanks 🙏
Oiiii Oiii Stephen, glad we made your morning oooohhh yeahhhh

Good morning Ted how are you today
Oiii oiiii Matthew, I am very well, how you doing?
Hello from louise, Oliver and oscar in West Yorkshire .
Oiiii ooiiii Louise, Oliver and Oscar 🤙🏼Thank you so much for joining us oooohhhh yeah
Ted, do you know where the pilots stayed during the exercise? Or do they keep it a secret because of autograph talkers (how do you call them). With our press card we used to visit RIAT pilots in the pilot hotel in Greemham Common.
Unfortunately not, but I do believe the pilots are always trying to find out where I am 😎😂 Bournemouth Air Festival we do though wahhhayyyyy
That's a good thing, isn't it? The best source of information are the pilots.
I think uk should have kept tornados and refurbished
Agree totally
