I decided to copy it on a smaller canvas and I think it turned out very well. This tutorial is very easy to follow and it gave me a better understanding on how to paint mountains. Thank you so much!

I recreated this and am very happy with the way it turned out! I had to use a sponge to get the texture on the mountain but I still think it turned out nicely. Love the colour palette as well. I also used a white gel pen to do the moon and used it to outline the mountains which I think adds a nice touch. Thank you so much for the great tutorial 💙

The sky gradation is skillful✨. The mountain expression is rich and interesting🗻🌈. The cloud in the middle is cute😺. And this cloud is a very effective resting place for my eye movements☁👀🍵. You are good at drawing👍✨.

@@GraceJArt That's super nice of you, I'd be grateful for any help! I waste paint trying to achieve the right shade. This time I managed to kind of get it, but it's still not as vibrant as yours. And in the other tutorial I followed my colours were probably more vibrant than they should've been 😅
I followed along to this and really liked it - my only notes are if you could please list the tools and colours required before you start - got stuck at the mountains cause i didnt have a palette knife thing lol also didnt see you tape the edges at the beginning and I would have done that if I would have known!!

But you've just gave me hope to try them again ❤ Couple of questions by a very beginner like me .. can I start my paintings without a Gesso ? And why you use a knife 1st then a brush to blend ? And why you blend them on the canvas right away?
Backgrounds are usually easier to make by blending straight on the canvas. I’ve never used a palette knife but I have used a brush for a background, the paints are sort of in bulk so they clump in the brush. So she spread them with the palette knife first
It's better to start with pre-gessoed canvas because it is easy to preserve later on and to help spread colors on canvas. By the way, thanks for answering the question @lunar eclipse.
